Charlie choreographed our wedding dance for us. My wife and I did a mash up to a few of our favourite songs and the wedding guests loved it. Charlie made learning the dance super relaxed and fun, and it was perfect for the style we were going for! Something a bit different as far as normal wedding mash ups go. I would highly recommend subsdance and Charlie. It’s a really safe and inclusive space where you can have fun. We are super grateful for Charlie’s time and effort that they put into teaching us the dance. It was a total hit with our guests and I wish we could relive it again and again.

My partner and I had a few private classes with Charlie ahead of our wedding for our first dance. We didn't want anything too choreographed but didn't want to be lost on the dancefloor either! Charlie was perfect, worked with us to make something really fun with enough 'regular' slow dancing to not make it cheesy but with a few impressive/cheeky bits too. As two people with no dance experience we were nervous but Charlie made us totally at ease and it turned out to be the most fun thing we did in wedding planning! Honestly, if you're sitting on the fence, just do it. Charlie will work with you and whatever song/genre of music you want and help you still feel like yourselves. Unfortunately we had to postpone our wedding last minute so haven't done our dance yet, but I could not recommend the wedding dance more highly. Charlie was very easy to communicate with too and flexible on times. We look forward to sharing our dance with our guests soon, and might even stop past for some fresh tips closer to the date! (And maybe even join a regular class in the meantime too!)

I booked a ‘learn how to twerk’ class with Charlie for my mum's hens last night! We are on the older side but it was so much fun! Our instructor was Issy, and after a few glasses of bubbly, we started our class. We had an absolute ball! We had numerous trips to the bubbly table and by the end had a 40-second choreography that we ‘may’ perform at the wedding lol. I honestly don’t have anything bad to say about our experience! From the second we walked in we were greeted by the lovely Nicole and shown to our studio. At the end, the amazing Issy stayed a little longer to let us freshen up, get changed into our formal clothes, and put on makeup so we could go straight to dinner. I would definitely recommend it! We found it a little difficult to find because we don’t know Kingston very well but that was our problem lol! We had an absolutely awesome time and half the ladies are planning on joining one of the beginner's classes on a regular basis! Thanks to Charlie, Nicole, and the super talented Issy for an amazing time! Can’t wait to come again!

I've now been going to Subsdance for about 2-3 terms and I've tried the Dancehall and the Sass Femme Hip-Hop Classes. It truly is fantastic. Yes it's a great place to learn about dancing (and I certainly recommend the classes led by Charlie herself!). It's also a really affirmative, positive space, where everyone is given the chance to feel amazing.

Our association hired Glamourosas for a performance during a music event we held. I have to say they were AMAZING! They made all the difference in getting people into the mood! They were absolutely beautiful and super professional! I could not recommend them enough!
