Absolutely amazing food! I have never had food of such quality from a restaurant, let alone a food truck. The flavours were pure delight and the wait time was reasonably quick. Will definitely be back when i return to Canberra. Please come to Sydney. I would be a regular!
Moowing Streak truck is a little treasure, Ive ordered from them multiple times and I dont wuat magic they do but every single steak Ive had is perfectly cooked to your desired level. The owner ive seen seek out quality cuts of meat and takes passion in the food served. Ive ordered steaks at pubs and high quality restaurants and still moowing tops them in consistently providing a perfect steak. Only negative feedback I will provide is they got rid of their jus sauce, which was perfect side for their chips and steak. Please being it back!
I've snuck in here for a steak a few times now. Was a bit apprehensive at first when a mate suggested a good van for a steak - but I was 100% wrong to be nervous. The steaks are great. Great cuts of meat, cooked perfectly and with just the right amount of seasoning. I brought someone along once who isn't really much of a steak eater and they've already suggested we go back! The chips are super crunchy too. Perfect side to the flavoursome steak. I know it is a bit more than your average food van, but you're getting a lot more quality than you might expect. Staff are lovely and always up for a bit of a chat. Do yourself a favour and sneak on in for a tasty treat!
Saw the reviews, so decided to treat myself and wasn't disappointed. I've had steak in Brazil, Argentina and Uruguay among other places and this was up there. Beautifully cooked tenderloin and if I were staying longer I'd probably be back to try some other offerings from their menu. They appeared to have some regular locals and understandably so.
Absolutely amazing food truck! The flavours were incredible! The lamb was tender, the chicken burger was juicy, and the chips were perfectly crispy. Everything tasted fresh and beautifully seasoned. The salad with the grilled meat was a standout too! The owners are hardworking and welcoming, and the whole vibe of the place at night feels so cosy. Definitely one of the best late-night eats in Canberra. Highly recommend! And thank you so much for the extra sauce! It was absolutely beautiful and so unique. I’ve never tried anything like it in Melbourne!
