Whether you’re going for a short walk or a full-day hike, Morialta provides a great outdoor escape. Don’t forget your water, good shoes, and a camera—you’ll want to capture the views!
It's a excellent place to get the family they have play area to enjoy, also don't miss the walk to giants cave. If you are adventurous there are plenty of walking trails.
Beautiful walk! The Morialta Loop via First and Second Falls is a great mix of forest, cliffs, and waterfalls. The views are amazing, especially after some rain — though it does get a bit muddy then. The trail’s in good shape overall, not too steep on the ups or downs, and easy to enjoy at a steady pace. A solid choice for a relaxed hike with rewarding scenery close to the city.
A hiking trail for all! Whatever level you are. Morialta has trails from beginners to advanced depending on what you choose. Usually at the start of the hikes is a man who also sells coffee and light snacks if you want a little pick me up at any point. Some of the trails are quite steep and would be a bit heavy on the legs. Great family friendly spot though
I visited Morialta Conservation Park and it was such a refreshing experience. What I loved most was how close it is to Adelaide — yet as soon as you step onto the trails, you feel completely surrounded by nature. The waterfalls were beautiful, especially First Falls, and I really enjoyed the sound of the water as I walked along the creek. The walking tracks are well-maintained and suitable for different fitness levels. I took the First Falls walk which was quite easy and relaxing — perfect for a gentle stroll. I spotted a few koalas sleeping in the gum trees, which was a highlight for me. The Mukanthi Nature Play Space is fantastic if you’re visiting with kids. It’s thoughtfully designed and blends really well with the bush setting. I loved seeing families enjoying picnics and children exploring the natural play areas. One thing to note is that parking can be tricky if you come on a busy weekend — it’s best to arrive early. Also, I’d recommend bringing plenty of water and your own snacks because there aren’t any cafés or shops inside the park. Overall, I’d definitely recommend Morialta Conservation Park to anyone looking for an easy day out in nature. Whether you want to hike, spot wildlife, or just relax near the waterfalls, it’s a beautiful spot to unwind and reconnect with the outdoors.
