My parents needed a moving company for their move from Kentucky to a Nashville suburb. My husband used Motivated Movers previously for business moves. Colondo, Rapheal, Odel, and Darius are an AMAZING team!!!! They arrived in two large moving truck, maneuvering with extreme care, making sure their trucks got where the trucks needed to be without damaging anything. Colondo, Rapheal, Odel, and Darius had me do a walk-through of my parents’ house, workshop, and detached garage to get a look at everything being moved. They asked questions. I asked questions. After that they went room to room wrapping my parents’ furniture to protect it, and did other things to help prevent damage, such as removing mirrors from dressers wrapping those separately. After prepping any items that needed to be prepped Colondo, Rapheal, Odel, and Darius worked as a well oiled machine to move everything out of the house onto the truck. These four very obviously work together on moves regularly, and they have systems in place for things to move quickly, but at the same time no damage be done either to the items being moved, or to the house those items are being moved out of. It was amazing. They were just great, start to finish. All we had to do was sit back, stay out of their way, and be available to answer any questions they might have. I made this move sooooooooo much less stressful than any other move my parents or I have every experience. Once everything was loaded Colondo, Rapheal, Odel, and Darius left us headed back to Nashville in the two large moving trucks where the trucks full of all my parents’ worldly belongings were stored, safely and securely, until the next morning. On day two Colondo, Rapheal, Odel, and Darius headed to my parents’ new house in a Nashville suburb. Colondo kept me updated on their ETA that morning, and he and I discussed whether the two large trucks needed to drive in or back in. Once again, at the new house on day two, Colondo, Rapheal, Odel, and Darius and I did a walk-through of the house. They asked questions. I asked quesitons. Then Colondo, Rapheal, Odel, and Darius immediately got to work. These four gentlemen do not waste time! These is zero standing around. These four work from start to finish. No dawdling. All they needed from us was to basically direct traffic, meaning, for instance, we had labeled all the boxes with the room they went in. So if they were carrying a box labeled “guest bedroom” they walked in and said “guest bedroom” and we pointed them in the right direction. Colondo, Rapheal, Odel, and Darius work seamlessly as a team on day two the move, just as they did on day one, making sure neither the items they were moving nor the new house suffered damage. We had several large furniture items that I was a bit worried about. Colondo, Rapheal, Odel, and Darius were not even phased!! Quoting Colondo “Let’s stay positive.” They made it look easy. Again, Colondo, Rapheal, Odel, and Darius are a GREAT team. Once all items were moved into place in the new house Colondo, Rapheal, Odel, and Darius unwrapped all the items they wrapped for protection on day one. They set the beds back up. They put mirrors back on the dressers. And on and on and on. This helped so much toward my parents being able to possibly get a decent night’s sleep in their own bed their first night in their new house. That is HUGE! Before Colondo, Rapheal, Odel, and Darius left we did one last walk-through to make sure everything looked good. They were even so wonderful as to move a few heavy furniture items from one side of a room to the other side of the room for my mother. Again, just absolute wonderful gentlemen these four men. I just cannot say enough good things for it to even express how much my parents and I appreciate Colondo, Rapheal, Odel, and Darius. Thank you, gentlemen!!! My parents and I thank you, thank you, thank you, and thank you again. You are all AWESOME, AWESOME men, and we thank you. HIGHLY RECOMMEND the extremely competent team made up of Colondo, Rapheal, Odel, and Darius at Motivated Movers!
The actual movers themselves were great - specifically want to shout out Darius and TJ. We had a 2 part move - loading everything up into a U-Haul on Saturday and then unloading 2 days later into our new house on Tuesday. Saturday arrival time was 8AM - by 8:30 they had not shown and claimed they were waiting on one more guy before they could head out way. Ended up arriving around 9:30AM. I called the office multiple times and spoke to the manager Michael who was very rude to my husband and insinuated they were sending us an extra mover for free (I paid and agreed to hire 2, not 3) to make up for being late. Once they got there, they were great (David, Darius and Darnell) and moved us out in about 4 hours. I was charged for 3 movers for 4 hours even though I only agreed and was quoted for 2. I did not speak up when the third arrived because Michael insinuated they did that to make up for being so late. Darius and TJ then moved us in on Tuesday in only 2.5 hours - they did a phenomenal job and had the best attitude. Overall our moving experience was fine - the movers were great but the business side is terrible.
We are so so so happy we chose Motivated Movers to help with our move. Colondo, Odel, and Ralpheal were fantastic to work with! They helped everything go smoothly and they were so quick. We really appreciated the care with which they handled all of our items. I’ve moved too many times to count and this was by far the easiest and most pain free one. Which is why I’d give more stars if I could and will plan on recommending them to any of my friends/family for their moves. Thank y’all so much we are so grateful!!!
Colondo and Darius and the whole team did a fantastic job. From packing to loading to unloading they were kind, professional and courteous. I was blown away at how hard they worked to get us moved in less time than I would have imagined. Our belongings were treated with care and every person I interacted with was very friendly and helpful.
Ricky, Londo and Odell were so kind and helpful in every way!!! They all three seemed to love what they were doing and really work together as a great team. Lots of laughter and good-hearted fun while they were working like beasts!!! These guys were here to work and get the job done efficiently in record time! They were very knowledgeable in how to best protect different types of furniture… leather as opposed to fabric, etc. I highly recommend these guys. We had a great move. We are very grateful!
