Motive Cinemas is a class act with extraordinary talent. Patrick captured a family member's wedding two years ago. He and his associate exceeded expectations in every way, quietly capturing every moment and later retelling it in a stunning, timeless, cinematic way. When it came time to plan my own wedding, he was my first call because I wanted to check their availability before selecting a date! Jesse and Patrick are amazing!! We hired them for our wedding videographer and they absolutely killed it. They brought the best energy and made us feel so comfortable. We received our wedding video soooo quick (which is unheard of), less than a month after the wedding. Between our teaser, trailer and short film it is more than we could have ever dreamed of. They absolutely exceeded our vision and perfectly matched the vibe we were going for. They worked amazing hand in hand with our photographer, Zai and her team. My husband and I hired Jesse and Patrick after recommendations from past brides who hired them for both Save-the-Date and Wedding services. What was important to us when we were scoping out videographers during the process was the following: 1) We wanted professionals whose video would elegantly blend those classic bridal portrait moments as well as fun candid ones. Really evoke strong positive emotions when watching their videos. 2) We wanted a video style that would really stand the test of time, re: elegant, photojournalist, documentary, classic, airy and a bit moody and full of vibrancy at the same time. 3) A team that would be able to help us tell a cohesive story through video and help us be comfortable with all the attention and the lights flashing at us on the day of and prior. Jesse and Patrick checked off all those boxes once my husband and I looked at their portfolio. There really was no contest. Not only are they consummate professionals in the industry, they are true artists. They are happy to get on the phone and chat with you, correspond in e-mail, and take personal music requests (within reason). Anything to make you comfortable with their services and products. They also came in pretty clutch with the photography referral, and that's how we came across with Alex and Caro and the whole Evan R team. And they were pretty good sports when they found out we hired them before hiring a photographer (couples please take note of this crucial lesson right here). My husband and I wish Jesse and Patrick all the best in the world!
