Took my car to get fixed because a hose had become broken off from radiator. I taped the hose on so I could make it to the shop. They worked on the car. Charged me $600+ and didn’t fix anything. I mean they didn’t even touch it.The hose was still taped to the radiator the way I left it. The literally did nothing to it. Ray Charles could see that they didn’t touch it. I took my car back up there and the owner proceeded to obviously lie and couldn’t tell me what they did to my car or what I gave them money for. Then started to tell me how he didn’t need my business because they’ve been around so long and other pure nonsense. I ended up reporting it to the BBB and reversing the charge on my card. To do nothing, then charge me, then lie and tell me how great you are…can not suggest you don’t take your car here enough.
These are good folks here. I brought my car in for a headlight issue- they decided I’d be in better hands with a specialist and didn’t even charge me for looking it over. Nice and honest people- I’ll be back if another issue arises. Btw you get there between 7:45-8AM ish, park nearby and stand in line to give them your key for drop off. They are first come first serve
GET THERE BEFORE THEY OPEN! I arrived 7:40ish and was fifth in a ten person line which I was surprised by, but wasn’t upset at. Apparently it’s the best place in the area and, after my service, I’d have to agree! My car died on me, but I was able to get it there after a couple starts. Here’s my experience: 8 am - left my car in the lot and was told to check my phone for updates 10:50 - was texted my estimate which was itemized and allowed for me to approve EACH service which I appreciated. I needed 4 spark plugs replaced, an ignition coil replaced, and they recommended I get my EVAP purge valve replaced as well. I was told it would be ~$900 which was less than I was expecting when my car had completely died on me. I have no idea if it’s “reasonable” by industry standards, but it was within what I was willing to pay to drive my car so I approved. 1:49 - my car was done and available for pickup! 4:00 - picked up car with no issues! There were no extra charges or unexpected costs. 5/5 would certainly go again if I had any issues! Fast and easy service experience, would recommend!
If you want to be mansplained go here! I’ve been a loyal customer here for six years, choosing to support a local shop rather than a big-box store like Costco. In July 2021, I purchased a full set of four new tires for about $600 with a 5-year/60,000-mile warranty. I drive about 10,000 miles a year, so I expected they would last. Three years later, two tires failed, and the copper was showing. To their credit, those were replaced under warranty. But from there, my experience went downhill. Another tire had a nail and when that leak didn't hold, I was told the rim was bad a week later. I ended up buying two more tires “at cost” for $325. During that visit, I was scolded over the phone about my lug nut lock being where I said it was— even though it was exactly where I said it was — and spoken to in such a dismissive way that I left in tears. A staff member even acknowledged I should have been credited for the original failed repair. Two months later, when my tire light came on again, they simply refilled the air instead of checking the tire properly. Two days later I found a nail myself and returned a few days after — only to be told by the owner that they “could never make me a happy customer” and that I should leave and stared me down. I left absolutely shocked. After years of giving this shop my business, I was dismissed, disrespected, and made to feel like the problem for expecting basic service and honesty. It was clear to me that women are not treated with the same respect here. I have mentioned this to several women friends, only to hear they, too, had all had similar experiences there. They also haven’t been back. I will also add that I was treated rudely by another member of their staff while getting new wiper blades put on but gave them some grace. On top of all that, they don’t take appointments, which makes everything more inconvenient and adds unnecessary stress. I will not be returning. Buyer beware — this shop may be local, but they do not treat their neighbors with fairness or respect.
This review is LONG overdue but Josh was amazing! My husband cross threaded our spark plug trying to play mechanic and he (Josh) literally saved the day. So thankful for him! He was super nice and personable! Also extremely transparent! Please take your car here and always talk to Josh! Yall better keep him! 💞
