Had a great experience with Mr. Handyman! My kitchen sink collapsed out of the blue due to poor initial installation. I was able to get a same day appointment and the technician, Rodrigo, was so nice and helpful. He explained what the issue was and was able to fix it the same day. Definitely recommend!
JC was great! He replaced my garbage disposal in my kitchen sink and reattached the cabinet doors below the sink. He also switched up my washing machines. Of course, I broke the safety device on my newer washing machine, while he was getting supplies to fix the kitchen stuff and had to get a new one today. JC went to Lowe’s and picked up a new one I just purchased and installed it. He also showed me how to operate the safety lock. Great service and I would strongly recommend.
These guys are just fantastic! Professional and respectful and they absolutely know their stuff. They have repaired my door frame, fixed furniture, assembled new furniture, hung pictures, and I’m sure there will be more. Their business card is permanently stuck to my fridge 😊.
I had the best experience with Mr. Handyman. I used them several times throughout the years. Always very pleased! This last time, DJ came to my home. What a polite , helpful, and knowledgeable young man. The job was done perfectly! Just called them again, He'll be back for another job and the price is very reasonable !
Complaint Summary: Improper installation of exterior door sill leading to water intrusion, unprofessional conduct from owner, and prior billing dispute suggesting dishonest business practices. ⸻ Complaint Details: On August 16, 2024, Mr. Handyman replaced my front door and sill. Shortly after the job, the company attempted to bill me for materials that were not used. I filed a complaint, and while the owner eventually credited part of the charge, his tone and manner were rude and dismissive. Over a year later, in September 2025, I discovered that water from window washing leaked into the door sill. Inspection showed the exterior sill had never been sealed, allowing water intrusion—an obvious installation defect. When I contacted the owner, he was immediately combative, repeatedly interrupting me and stating before I could finish that I “would not get the resolution I wanted.” He did offer to come inspect the issue, but given the prior attempted overbilling, poor workmanship, and his unprofessional attitude, I no longer trust him to perform any work on my home. As I told him directly: you wouldn’t trust a surgeon who left tools inside you to fix the mistake. The same principle applies here. The combination of attempted fraud, defective installation, and disrespectful conduct has destroyed my confidence in this business. I am requesting a full refund for the original job so I can hire an honest and competent company to correct the work. Given the facts, this is the least Mr. Handyman can do to make this right.
