Had a very smooth and positive first experience with Mr Rooter, especially with our technician Alfredo! I called to make an appointment and they had one available the next morning. I received a text 30mins before the appointment to let us know Alfredo was the assigned technician and on his way. He was punctual to the appointment, and after walking him through the issues, he explained the job that needed to be done clearly. The quote and details were pulled up upfront on the iPad, with flat rate pricing that also listed the components that would be replaced. Alfredo himself was very courteous, knowledgeable, and very helpful. He guided us through the whole process with clear explanations of what he was doing. Besides fixing the immediate problem, he also took some steps to diagnose multiple other possible root causes of the issue. I very much appreciated that he didn't put any pressure or push with going for a larger or broader jobs. When I also shared about some auxiliary concerns, he went above and beyond to provide additional recommendations and information. I was very grateful that he was our assigned technician - thank you! Mr Rooter came highly recommended by a neighbor - so while I didn't do much as much research on how it compares - I would go with them again in the future again given how positive this experience was.
Fixed the toilet drain clog on a shared pipeline fourth business unit away from the street sewage pipe. Friendly, clean, respectable and personable. Absolutely clear on the assessment, then the price, then the fine work. Presto! We are a return customer, BTW, and still happy.
I liked especially how Vito made sure he saw and understood the rest of the downstream plumbing links before jamming his augur in there. And he was very polite about the "creative" approach to plumbing a previous owner put here decades ago. Very professional guy. Would call again.
Made a last-minute appointment with Mr Rooter in Oakland. Billy came all the way over to San Francisco to take care of a leaking bathroom sink P-trap. He also investigated a number of other issues and provided a follow up estimate. He is the owner’s son, working side-by-side with his brother and dad — 5 generations of plumbers! With that kind of pedigree I can confirm that this is a plumber outfit with serious game! Totally customer focused and to the point. Very knowledgeable about the things they work on and forthright about not getting into jobs they don’t specialize in. For me, I found them quite refreshing and unexpected. Only the price was a tad high, but I paid it with full knowledge I was getting top-notch service. So many plumbers and electricians smugly conduct their affairs almost against their customers wishes. I can’t praise Billy and his company enough for being on point! Already have a follow-up project in the works with them.
Mr. Rooter was able to come and fix my sewer backup issue within the same morning. Alfredo was our plumbing technician and he was very professional and friendly. He took the time to explain to me how things work and was able to creatively solve some out of the box hiccups that arose during the service. Their pricing is not the cheapest but you get what you pay for. We would definitely recommend them for your plumbing issues.
