If you are looking for a school with flexibility that fits your schedule, has great instructors, and is reasonably priced, this is it! Randy and Patty are great people and treat you like family. Michelle, one of the instructors, explains double clutching and downshifting in a way that makes a lot of sense and makes it easy to learn. She will also take you to the truck stop to practice parking, and also show you how to hook and unhook. Pete, another instructor, is very knowledgeable and can answer even very technical questions. Don't be afraid to ask questions! Plus, this is the cheapest CDL school on the west coast. I just graduated last month and am very thankful for my time here.

I'm a graduate from Oct 2015! I remember Pete! Awesome instructor. Back then it was Desert Trk Driving School located near Petro. Very flexible with training! Glad to hear they continue this tradition. Hope they still training on manual and not all automatic I-shift! I'm in Texas now but if I ever get the chance to go to Reno, I definitely will stop for a visit. Good luck to all! Be safe always!

Great experience overall. Super flexible program, with a self paced learning environment. Patty, Randy, Michelle, and Pete are always willing to help you get prepared for your license test. Unlike other schools, you’re not required to attend every day, and with early morning and weekend hours available, you can get your CDL while you’re working full time. Patty went above and beyond the call of duty to get me scheduled for a retest right away after failing a portion of the skills test. The icing on the cake is the best pricing in the area, as well as being 100% local family owned. I’ve already referred a few people, and will refer anyone else that asks about CDL school in the Reno area.

I was here from January of 2021 through July of 2021. They work with your work schedule where most trucking schools don’t and Patty, Randy, Michelle, and Pete really know their stuff and if you’re there to learn you will pass your test, and you will go on to get a job with the shortage of truck drivers. I run local so when I’m in Reno I’ll go back from time to time to visit. Good people there.
