Tattoo Artist: Jayden I was searching for a new tattoo artist after a previous experience that wasn’t great. Through referrals, I found Jayden, who was incredibly responsive and respectful from the start. We scheduled a consultation where she listened carefully to my concerns and was honest and reassuring throughout the process. During the tattoo session, she walked me through every step, checked in often, and offered plenty of breaks and snacks. The shop itself was clean, organized, and welcoming, with a very friendly staff. I will absolutely be returning to this shop and it is well worth the drive. I truly can’t express how positive this experience was.
I first discovered Phong while scrolling through Instagram searching for artists. Once I stumbled upon his page and viewed his work, it completely resonated with me, which led me to sending him a DM. All the communication to confirm the tattoo and appointment was handled through IG. Throughout all the messages, Phong was very transparent about the process—from asking for details about the tat and placement to discussing pricing, setting up the appointment, and confirming it with a deposit. It was seamless. On the day of the appointment, once I arrived, Phong shared some ideas with me, and you can modify them to your liking until you reach a drawing you’re satisfied with—which is exactly what I did. I never felt rushed and really appreciated that. During the session, I enjoyed chatting with him while withstanding the pain of being tatted, but regardless of the pain, it was still a great overall experience. Once the session was over, as with any artist, he went over aftercare tips, but what I also loved is that he has the care instructions posted on his IG page. In this age, digital and convenience are always appreciated. As for the tattoo, I’m very satisfied. He brought my vision to life—the piece I’d been wanting for a while. I always knew I wanted a flat and minimal hourglass but didn’t know what the final image should look like, which is why I went to Phong after seeing his work. He did a phenomenal job, and it was great working and chatting with him. His attention to detail and stippling work is excellent. If you’re thinking about getting a realistic tattoo and appreciate heavy attention to detail, including stippling, Phong is your guy. Book him as soon as you can if you decide to get one, as he’s very busy and his work speaks for itself. In addition, you’re paying for quality, so if the price is out of your range, he may not be the artist for you.
I came in to see if they had an artist that would cover an existing tattoo with another image I had in mind. Unfortunately for me the artist talked me out of that image and we went ahead with another image he was more comfortable executing. Half way through it was clear he didn’t have much experience. Live and learn, I won’t be back.
The team here is awesome! I go to Dan regularly and he always delivers amazing work. He’s super chill and you can tell he really cares about his craft. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for quality tattoos and a great experience.
I came into town from Texas and we decided to get matching tattoos she designed. Off the bat, the vibe in there was great. They were so friendly and welcoming. The place was so cute too. Dan was the one that did both of our tattoos. I’m used to tattoo artists kind of rushing to get us on the table, but he took his time going over the details with us. He even printed out multiple size options so we could move them around and see where we wanted them and how big we wanted it. I felt so comfortable talking about what I wanted and taking our time which is surprising bc I normally feel uncomfortable being more assertive in what I want. The tattoos came out absolutely perfect, and he was so light handed that a wrist and upper arm tattoo barely even pinched. Not to mention it was just a fun experience. Great vibes. Great conversations. Over all, the best tattoo experience I’ve had and would recommend them for their detail and their amazing line work. Couldn’t have done better with the final result. Thanks for making our bestie vacay experience amazing, Dan! P.S. I looked up the extinction date of Woolly Mammoths and Cleopatra and it’s not adding up, Phong… 👀
