11/1) Update 4 days later> dropping to only 2 stars. My gel mani is already chipping. I haven’t even done dishes yet (on vacation). So I won’t be able to return to have them fix it. Unacceptable at $80 w/o tip for gel and a reg pedi. 10/28) Excellent nail salon. Lynn was exceptional with my pedi and manicure. She was very attentive to my request.
A “soak off” consisted of leaving acrylic all over my nails and a pedicure consisted of slapping lotion on my feet & legs calling it a “massage.” Not only that, the nail tech kept bugging me about adding things I did not ask for saying “it would look better if they matched,” yet did such an awful job. If you guys weren’t feeling up to doing service at 5:00, maybe close a little earlier? They are lucky I paid for such bad service. I’ll never return.
Katie did an amazing job. Everywhere else I have gone always hurt me with the dremel tools , she was extremely gentle and it never hurt at all I will definitely go there again
I have never left a google review in my life, i received horrible customer service here. I had called Nirvana nails and asked if I could get a full set. A woman answered the phone and did not say anything for about 30 seconds and then proceeded to tell me I could come in 30 minutes. I gave them about 40 and showed up about 6:40 PM I still had to wait when I showed up. My nails did not get started on till 7:30 pm, They insisted on giving me a re-base because they did not have any time which I did not want because you’re able to see previous lines from my last nail set with a French manicure. I asked them for a darker pink base because I did not want to see that ugly line, The man doing my nails told me they couldn’t do that because I hadn’t gotten my nails done there previously (How hard is it it mix up a darker pink acrylic?!) Then he handed me off to another woman because apparently he didn’t know how to do French tips. I proceeded to check out and the smallest tip amount is 12 DOLLARS despite the horrible customer service and nail job i left a custom tip that was most definitely not deserved. I did not leave Nirvana nails till after 8:30! mind you they close at 7pm.
I use to love this place and have been coming to them for about 9 years now. But after yesterday I’m debating if I should even go back. I paid $70 for my dip manicure and ended up receiving one of the most painful manicures of my life. As you can see my cuticles were filed down so much, that I have actual cuts and they’re raw. Not to mention the cut on my pink (from filing as well). Super disappointed to say the least.
