From our first call with Ben, we knew we would be in good hands for our September 2025 wedding. After briefly discussing the type of music we love, Ben immediately understood our vibe and listed off several other artists he correctly assumed we were fans of. Leading up to the wedding, he was very easy to communicate with, taking time to understand what we were looking for and the different vibes we were hoping to create. We were impressed with just how well-versed he is in different genres of music. On the wedding day, Ben brought that same positive and energetic energy, which made our wedding so special. We trusted him 100% with the party he was creating and he did not disappoint! We also rented a photo booth from NT Weddings which was, of course, a total hit. (photos attached). We feel so lucky and appreciative to have found Non-Traditional DJs!

We had Ben as our DJ for our wedding, and he did an incredible job! He really listened to what I wanted and perfectly captured the vibe we were going for. The dance floor was packed all night for a Monday night during a Nor'easter. Everyone had such a great time. I especially loved the stand-up setup with the disco ball—it looked amazing and added such a fun, vibrant energy to the night. Highly recommend Ben to anyone looking for a DJ who truly knows how to keep the party going!

Much like the name suggests, Non-Traditional Wedding DJs offer a music experience unlike the “standard” wedding DJ. The music was customizable to our taste - more indie rock than club bangers. Ben and his team were great to work with, responding quickly and proactively reaching out to confirm timelines. In addition to playing music, our DJ, Ray, also played the keyboard for the ceremony, providing a soft ambiance before and playing the processional music of our choice. For the dancing portion of the night, there was never a dull moment, without resorting to the cha-cha slide. We had a few must play songs, like Hot to Go and Kiss, and they were seamlessly added during the night. From consultation to the event, both Ben and Ray were very receptive to any requests to make sure that our vision for the music was accomplished. The value, options, and professionalism that Non-Traditional Wedding DJs provides made them an excellent and memorable addition to our wedding.
