So grateful to have found Dr Bastani and his team. He truly is a 5-star provider. He has a high-tech office and a very nice and competent front desk and dental assistant team. I found him to be knowledgeable, honest, gentle and with a good sense of humor. I needed to get a crown for my implant which was overdue longer than I'd like to admit. Throughout the whole process, he went the extra mile to be thoughtful about setting the crown up for long term success. He even offered to make the crown in-house at his lab when the outside lab was delayed. I am so happy to have found a good dentist and recommend him and his team to anyone needing dental care!
As a child, I had some really terribly experiences at the dentist, and as an adult, I've struggled with going - my anxiety goes through the roof. So...I put off an appointment for longer than I am willing to admit. I finally mustered up the courage to go a couple of months ago, and was extremely nervous about the judgement and pain I'd experience when I went in. Dr. Bastani and his staff were nothing but kind, gentle and professional...and so quick! I had to get a tooth extracted and I didn't even notice he'd finished the procedure! I've already recommended Oakland Dental Care to several people and I'm actually looking forward to my next cleaning!
I have always struggled with consistent brushing and the Dr. was SO kind about it. He checked in constantly with me while getting a cleaning and fillings to make sure I was doing ok. SUCH a fast dentist too, longer visits make me anxious.
Before seeing Dr. Bastani, my last dental appointment was about 10 years ago. I had a panic attack and fainted, and the dentist (not Bastani,) told me that my experience was due to issues outside of her control. (I mean, not entirely untrue, but surely she could be more accommodating?) So I came to Dr. Bastani fearing the absolute worst: 10 years worth of cavities and any number of reasons to have another panic attack. One of Dr. Bastani's two staff members was out sick the day of my appointment, so it was a perfect recipe for a tough experience. And yet, it was the best dental appointment I've ever had. Dr. Bastani totally could've told me I needed 10 fillings just for the fees, and I wouldn't have batted an eye. Luckily, I had zero cavities, however. I am so grateful to have an honest dentist who makes a nerve-racking experience easy. The experience was clean, quick without feeling rushed, and extremely chill.
Caring and experienced team of dental professionals. Dr. Bastani is the best dentist I have ever had. He has the best bedside manner. He answered my health concerns with care and knowledge. I couldn’t ask for a better dentist. The clinic is professional, clean, yet still so friendly. I always feel like I’m not scared when I have to go here - even when seeing doctors/dentists can make me nervous sometimes.
