BEST IN LUBBOCK!!! Dr. Oden and his team are caring, compassionate, and incredibly informative.They truly care about the pets and their owners, and I am extremely grateful for them. He turned my negative experience I received at another clinic completely around and ultimately saved my heartache and our circumstance. He eased all of my worries and I knew I could trust him off the bat. I took my dog in for her annual checkup at another clinic in Lubbock, Live Oak and had a very upsetting experience after being told her heart worm test was positive. The information was delivered in an alarming and rushed manner, and I felt pressured to immediately begin treatment. I was extremely emotional and left the appointment overwhelmed, confused, and with more questions than answers. Because something didn’t feel right, I sought a second opinion from Dr. Oden. His team ran an in-house test and also sent a sample to an out-of-state lab. Thankfully, both tests came back negative. While this was a huge relief, it was also frustrating to realize that further confirmation could have been done before I was charged for heartworm treatment at Live Oak. Although they did refund the medication, there was no acknowledgment or apology for the stress caused by the misdiagnosis. The entire situation was emotionally taxing and could have been avoided. Thank God Dr. Oden was recommended to us. With this saddening misinformation I received from Live Oak I still felt at peace knowing my dog was now in the best hands with Dr. Oden’s knowledge, genuine care, and most importantly ethical way he runs his practice. He will forever be our veterinarian, and I would recommend him without hesitation!! Thank you for caring! My dog is healthy like he said from the beginning and he knows his stuff better than anyone!!

Dr. Oden, Dr. Vree, and all staff members have been absolutely wonderful each and every time we visit and call about our babies. They do everything they can to get you in for an emergency and very informative and caring. Like others have stated they are the absolute best in Lubbock and we are very grateful for everything they do. We went to another vet when we first moved to Lubbock and I'm so glad we kept looking and found Oden Veterinary.

I have been taking my dog here for a few years now and I never have had a bad experience. They always show care and kindness towards your animals, and genuinely want to help. Dr. Oden and the rest of the staff made sure my dog was comfortable and not stressed during her visit. I’ve been to other vets before , such as Live Oak, and never seen anyone treat my dog with such genuine care. Thank you!

I have no words to explain how amazing these people are. My cat has Leukemia and when she was dying I took her to three different locations and they insisted on putting her down to sleep. I brought her to Oden and they literally did magic by giving her a shot of steroids and at least TRYING to save my cat. After almost four years, I have no words to describe how they always treat me and my cat. Honestly God bless you guys, you guys saved my beautiful furry baby, she is stronger than ever.

Very compassionate people. Took my 14yo German shepherd lab mix to them for some help with mobility and they were very understanding and kind. Got the help we needed. Hopefully my baby is more comfortable!
