Flew in from San Diego and had to check out the dance scene. Had an awesome time. Super friendly people, great atmosphere. Kash and Kev and whoever worked the front desk were awesome. Despite being new I felt right at home.

I went to open dancing after the bachata lesson, and had a wonderful time! Everyone was so friendly it made for a great night!

I’ve rented a studio room to practice in with On One Studios multiple times, and although I’ve had an easy experience the first couple of times, I will no longer be renting with On One Studios, as my most recent experience was unacceptable. I booked a room a little over a week in advance and received a confirmation that my booking went through. I received another email closer to the rental date with a confirmation link, which I clicked. The email had no information regarding any instructions/what to do upon arrival. Previously, an employee had been at the studio to let me in, so I assumed it would be the same this time. Come the day of the rental, I arrive and the studio doors are locked and the lights are off. I understand that I booked the studio for their “off” hours/not during their regular hours, but they should have known I was coming a week in advance. I called 3 times, texted, as well as DMed the Instagram page, but no one answered. I had to find the personal Instagram of one of the On One Studios coordinators to get an answer, and by that time, half an hour had already passed. Alyssa said that I should have received an email with instructions on how to enter the studio, but the email I received had no such instructions. I asked her for instructions on how to get in so I could at least get half an hour of practice in, but she did not respond for another half hour and instead of answering my question, she asked me if I was sure I confirmed my booking and how far in advance I booked. I ended up spending my entire 1.5 hour booking practicing OUTSIDE. Alyssa apologized for the inconvenience and said she was going to check in with the backend team on what happened, but considering I stood in front of the studio for 1.5 hours and was constantly trying to get in contact with someone, I feel like there could’ve been a better solution/response. They didn’t charge me for the rental, but at this point, I wish they did so they would care more about the situation :/

Called, left a voicemail and even tried visiting several times during their business hours but they were closed. Lights were off and door locked. There are multiple different hours which makes this confusing. Highly unprofessional. You just lost a potential student. Will not be coming back. I’ll find another one that take their business seriously and not some scammy kickstarter fund like it says on the front door.

One of the front desk girls on the Saturday shift (two ponytails, small eyes) was racist and super rude. She was literally smiling to everyone ahead of me and when it was my turn she just immediately stopped smiling and rolled her eyes while I was just politely asking for a schedule check. Very bad at communication too. Took forever for her to squeeze some words our for me. I have been to this studio since 2022, back then classes were inclusive, fun, teachers were great, good songs, relatively reasonable price . But now the studio has raised their prices, ($25 for a 50 people class with very mid instructors, are you kidding me?). The worst is that they are hiring very bad instructors. Random people keep coming in as instructors. These people don’t even dance well. And they are so bad at teaching. The beginner choreo are literally the worst and like a joke: repetitive, instructor bad at teaching, you learn nothing technical, and the choreo is ugly like those kindergarten kids exercise. Usually they even finish within 40 minutes for a 1.5 hour class and let the rest of time be repetitive filming and grouping. They never even tell you how to make your dance look better with excessive time. You will waste your money. If you are looking for really improving your dance, this is not a place where you put your tuition.
