I'm a 79 year old male , never been interested in gyms before . I checked out one tribe fitness at Wickham and was so impressed , I've felt the benefits after only doing one day a week ,looking forward to the next 10 years 😁
I stumbled across this gym by chance, My father-in-law was doing some / Rehab work with one of the trainers, I thought I would come along for the sake of it, WOW. I Did not realise I had been living under a rock until now. The gym is spacious, Clean And has an amazing feel to it with a very great range of machines. All of the trainers, including the owner were super accommodating and super friendly and did not waste a moment in making me feel welcome. I would recommend this place to anyone And wouldn’t miss a chance to come back. If you’re thinking about it, just give it a go!
Milan has been my personal trainer for about 2 years and I couldn’t recommend him more. I decided to start seeing a PT rather than going to regular gym classes because I have a chronic shoulder injury and I really struggle to find any activities that don’t flare my shoulder up. I can safely say that this is the first time since my shoulder problem begun that I feel fit and strong and finally feel like my shoulder injury is under control. I’ve been to plenty of physio’s, and this PT feels just as knowledgeable and a lot more passionate and invested in my journey to recovery and fitness. He doesn’t push you beyond your limits in unhealthy ways, but makes sure to gently challenge you a little more each time. If a certain exercise was too much for my shoulder, he would incorporate physio exercises to strengthen my shoulder into our PT sessions. He is always super present and very encouraging throughout the whole session. He always celebrates your wins and is also just great company, and manages to make training a lot of fun! I feel like anyone who’s had a major injury would understand my hype for finding someone you can really trust with your body. I’ve been apprehensive to really use my shoulder for so many years, and honestly, this has been pretty life changing. If you’re thinking of seeing a PT, definitely see Milan.
Great space! Neat and clean, the equipment is great and everything one would need for a proper workout. Joined a class for extra motivation - perfect! The spa area is amazing!! The cold plunge is really, really cold!
The best gym in Newcastle for everyone. Great equipment and more squat racks than you will ever need. The gym has a great community of friendly people and trainers. I was training at another gym and decided to try out One Tribe because it was close to work and it instantly became the only gym I want to go to. The personal trainers are fantastic. Mark has driven me to get in shape with training programs tailored to get me in better condition and reach all my personal goals. Since training with Mark, I've passed all my goals I set for myself much faster than I ever thought I would have. The owner, Simone, is a genuinely great and welcoming guy who everyone at the gym loves. If you're looking for anything from just a gym to train at, to personal training or classes, this place has it all.
