I love coming here. I don’t feel like I have to know anything about wine, because there’s always someone there who is excited to tell me all about it. This store feels like someone’s passion project, and it shows in every experience I’ve had here. Pairings is worth going out of your way for!
This place has it figured out. Quirky and welcoming. The owner is engaging and enthusiastic, and the themed pairings make it really fun. They are really knowledgeable, wide selection of wine and I tried new wines I wouldn't have been drawn to before. Thanks Jeff! My favorite of the severance pairing was Dylan g's innie!
We always have the best time at Pairings! Jeff, the owner, is incredibly knowledgeable and makes wine both approachable and fun. He doesn’t just recommend bottles—he walks you through the flavor profiles, points out the nuances, and even teaches you how to really enjoy wine if you’re new to it (all without a drop of pretension). The space itself is unique and laid-back, but what makes it truly unforgettable is Jeff’s quirky talent for pairing wines with characters from books, TV shows, movies, etc. It’s creative, hilarious, and spot-on every time. Between the stellar selection, the playful atmosphere, and Jeff’s passion for sharing wine, Pairings is hands down one of the most unique wine bars you’ll ever visit.
We had soooo much fun here! Out of 9 wines in the tasting, we ended up buying bottles of 3 of them. While we enjoyed the wine, the things that really made the experience fun were the theme/descriptions of the wines and the service. My daughter has been there multiple times and this was my first time in. We've already made reservations for future Pairings because it's so much fun!
This place is excellent! Fun, creative, delicious wines - and a fantastic selection - with personable staff. I tried the zodiac pairing and it hit the spot! Another wine matched to my request was perfect. I'll definitely be here a lot! Thank you, Pairings!!
