He is also very knowledgeable in all aspects of percussion and has helped me with classical percussion, marching snare, and drumset. Lessons with Cameron were the highlight of my time living in the Dallas area. I started lessons when I lived there and continued them online once I moved back home. Cameron has a unique background from schooling, playing live and teaching that helped put a lot of my musical goals in perspective to more accurately achieve those goals on and off the kit. He also knows how to covey the information in a style that best suits YOU, so you will grasp it and retain that information. You won’t regret taking lessons with him, I PROMISE YOU THAT! On top of that I’ve heard that Clay Aeschliman and Cameron both run a pretty rad in-person drum camp on occasion at Paragon Studio ;)

It’s no secret that Cameron absolutely destroys the kit, but being that amazing AND being able to break it down (so that you can understand without being overwhelmed) is a whole other talent in itself! I’ve honestly learned more with him in a few months than I have my entire life playing drums. I couldn’t recommend him more! If you’re serious and practice what he teaches you will, without a doubt, get better!

I started taking lessons with Cameron in 2023 and immediately started seeing dramatic improvements in my drumming and practice routines thanks to his advice and guidance. Cameron can teach you the basics of drumming and also intermediate and advanced skills, so I highly recommend signing up for lessons if you’re looking to get better at drumming, regardless of how long you’ve been playing. This studio is an incredible resource for drummers, two thumbs up from me.
