Cute bakery with a good variety of pastries, cakes, and coffee. The place has a clean, welcoming vibe and is perfect for a quick coffee or breakfast stop. Pastries are fresh, soft, and nicely displayed, making it hard to pick just one. Coffee is decent and pairs well with the baked goods. The baristas are nice and helpful, always polite and patient while taking orders. Seating is limited, so it works better as a grab-and-go spot rather than a place to sit for long. Overall, a reliable and pleasant place to stop by when you’re in the area and craving something sweet or a quick caffeine fix.
Sergio was very friendly and respectful, we asked about the alternative milk and he went above and beyond showing the milk and the brands! He recommended us the matcha and it was superb!
I had a very disappointing experience at this location. While waiting in line to purchase two birthday cakes, I was passed over and refused service so the next customer could purchase a large tray of bread instead. I was clearly next in line, and the situation felt unfair and unprofessional. This left a really bad impression, especially since I was told afterward that this kind of behavior happens often here. Customer service should be consistent and respectful to everyone. Unfortunately, because of this experience, I won’t be returning. I recommend supporting your local bakery instead.
Very nice PB branch with great lighting and layout. It's a decent size compared to a bunch of other locations in NYC and NJ. The pastry and to-go selection is similar to other locations. Price per pastry is average $4.50 and up. If you're looking for cake around the Newport area, they have many options. Seating was a bit limited indoors - maybe less than 15 people can sit inside. There is a bunch of outdoor seating available, too. It was too cold and windy to sit out there the day I went, but it's a good option when the weather is nicer. Staff were really nice and kind overall and the pastries I purchased were good.
