It was our first time going to a Jazz Club and it exceeded our expectations. We had a great time with great drinks, pizza, and of course, top notch musicians. We were already planning to go back before we even left.
If you love that old school, underground jazz club feel then this is your spot. The acoustics here were perfect. The prices are reasonable and the ambiance is very romantic, dimly lit and cozy. This is exactly what you need if you're in the Austin Texas area and you're looking for a Jazz experience.
Second visit here. Even more impressed this time! The live music and small intimate size of the club make it an amazing experience. The staff is so very nice and accommodating. Our waitress this night made a wine recommendation based on my wife's description of likes, and it was spot on! The food and drinks are so good. They have standard mixed drinks, but also do themed drinks. I could tell the ingredients on our pizza were fresh! It's no wonder this place sells out nearly every show.
We always have an amazing time here! It’s such an awesome atmosphere with great food, drinks and service too. This is the best jazz club in Austin!
Went to Parker’s jazz club for the first time tonight, had an overall great experience! Was lucky enough to be a night the owner of the club was part of the performance. Not only was his trio amazing but the owner held his own with his skillful instrument playing, great vocals, and storytelling that drew you in. The night went by too fast. Only think that could have been done better was that the service was a little slow, took over 15 minutes for our bottle of wine to arrive to the table after ordering. The staff were really busy and it seemed like they were just understaffed. Will definitely be back to support this Austin business but would recommend hiring more staff if possible. Valet parking for $15 available. Also check out the new jazz bar next door, Nica, also ran by the same owner!
