Patina Highland is a wonderful place to find unique gifts for any occasion and beautiful home décor — always a pleasure to browse!
Was running late....How did I get in and out of the store in less than 5 minutes? Customer service! I needed a sympathy gift, and the cashier was pleasant and walked me over to a wall with cardinal sun catcher. The price was right, grabbed a small gift bag, and headed to the counter. I'm not sure I've ever shopped that fast...and without feeling stressed in store with so many different trinkets, items, gifts, etc, and having no clue what was available or what to get. Thank you Patina! 😊
This store has such a wide variety of gifts you will find something for everyone - even the most difficult - including those who have everything. Little things like candy or games, candles, earrings or platters, home goods. Love their stuff!
I love Patina stores, but we had a weird experience at this one. We walked in on a Sunday morning, and no staff were behind the desk. We thought it was a little strange but just assumed they were busy elsewhere and started to browse. Then a staff person rushed out from the back, asked how we got into the store, said they were actually closed, then proceeded to hurriedly usher us out of the store. I guess they didn’t officially open for another five minutes, but the door was unlocked and the lights were on, so we of course assumed they were open and we were welcome. We understood unlocking the doors may have been a mistake, but it felt rude to shoo us away like that as if we did something wrong. Anyway, love the selection of products at patina, but this experience wasn’t great.
This is one of THE coolest stores in MPLS/St. Paul. Tons of stuff for your house, giftable items and just plain rad stuff. Lots of cool books, nick naks, games, and lots of other things. Could spend hours in here and drop a LOT OF MONEY, if you’re not careful. The prices are a bit steep and sometimes outrageous but sometimes fairly priced…. Example: $90 for a beautiful nicely made quilt. $20 for shower pellets. Either way, you must go to this store and will not regret it!
