I started going here on weekends to sit down and wedding plan. It is a nice, quiet place and relaxed environment that I needed to have some space. Service is always great. 10/10!
Pellicano Vineyards (Hamburg Winery): A Hidden Gem Pellicano Vineyards, also known as Hamburg Winery, is a charming family-run establishment located just a stone's throw from Hamburg Brewing. Despite being open for a couple of years, its subtle black and gold sign, often obscured by foliage, makes it an easy place to miss – as we discovered. We stopped by on a recommendation now that we were looking for it and were delighted we did! Our Experience We found convenient parking in the back, with an entrance that leads directly into the winery. Upon entering, we were greeted warmly and even found a fun "red carpet" style photo opportunity with their Pellicano Vineyard backdrop. Rosanna, our host, was incredibly delightful and knowledgeable, significantly enhancing our visit. The main area of the winery features a small gift shop and a comfortable bar area offering a selection of lagers. There's also a back room for private events or expanded seating on their theme nights (pasta Weds and Pizzas Fri). For those who enjoy the outdoors, there's ample seating on their patio with both high and low-top tables, as well as space on the front lawn. The overall atmosphere is wonderfully chill and relaxing. Wines, Beers, and More Pellicano Vineyards boasts a fantastic selection of both wines and beers. We opted for an $8 flight of four, served in small wine glasses, and thoroughly enjoyed both their white and red wine selections. While they produce their own wines from a small vineyard, they were just beginning work on their first estate wine – something we're eager to try in the future. They also feature live music from time to time, which further adds a lovely touch to the ambiance. We highly recommend a stop at Pellicano Vineyards if you're in the area!
Our first time at Pelicano…what a hidden treasure! The service and hospitality were as good as the most delicious pasta. Fresh, perfectly cooked al dente, fantastic meatballs. Five stars…can’t wait for next Wednesday 🍝
Update 8.7.24 went back in Pasta Night. They don't due tastings on Pasta night. A little disappointed in that. So I pulled up photos of the bottles of wine we purchased last time... Then got a glass of that. It was good. We had gluten free antipasto and they had some gluten free options and so I went for that. I got the same as another member of our party, but they got the regular version. Quite different looking. But all in all I was good to see they were considerate of those who needed gluten free. The gluten free pasta was over cooked so it was kind of meh... But still was an enjoyable evening. Thanks for the good time! ---------- Nice atmosphere, though I will mention the was a lot of traffic going by pretty close by... Didn't love that BUT despite that we enjoyed the experience. Wines was good. Left with a couple of bottles. Had some shared plates sans the gluten. No bread or crackers. They were good eats. Didn't find the prices too high... And I have reviewed many wineries/vineyards all over the continent so I can honestly say they are priced in the normal range. Wine was good. Music on the patio was really loud.. However it was music we really liked.. So or wasn't a problem for us. Staff was great... Very nice and helpful. Would go back. Check this place out. Thanks for the great afternoon experience.
Staff was amazing, loved everyone that helped us. The food is good, the dessert is fantastic. The wine is really tasty and the flights are a good value! No butter for bread. No salt, pepper, or crushed red pepper. It is mentioned on the menu so we expected it before we ordered. My personal preference would be to toast the bread since there's no butter. Overall, really glad we came here. Will definitely be coming back!!
