I stopped in to get my dog a special Christmas treat and was not disappointed. The staff was very friendly and there were a lot of options from chews and animal products to gorgeous baked cookies. I was worried it would be really pricey based on the nice exterior, but was glad to find a range and all reasonable priced. Good stock of pet supplies, toys, and basics as well!
We LOVE PetStory!! You have to visit this gem if you’re around UWS!! It’s our go-to pet store when we lived in the area. Every. Single. Person on the staff is attentive, kind, and you can tell they all truly love their furry customers. I can safely say it’s my Moose’s favorite place in the whole wide world. Whenever we walk by Riverside Park, if we’re within a block of PetStory, he would lose all self control, start pulling on the leash choking himself, gasping for air, eyes bugging, and pull towards the store. Sounds really dramatic but I’m not even kidding. The service is amazing (dog grooming included!), they stock fresh small batch dog foods, and they have a glorious mix-and-match treat station with a large assortment of single ingredient dehydrated treats. We recently moved to LA and miss this store for our Moose. Please open an LA location soon 🥺🥲
My 14 year old Shi Tzu, Chewy, has been getting groomed by Clara at Pet Story since they opened. Everybody there is so nice, so helpful and so welcoming. Clara is great with Chewy. She is very gentle, and he always looks so handsome when he’s done. The store is also wonderful. They have homemade treats of all kinds, and they always give Chewy samples so he can try new things. I can’t say enough good things about this store and everybody who works there.
I’ve been there a couple of times, I found the staff friendly and agreeable. The place is very tidy albeit little on the tight side, I think that’s due to the assortment of items offered. The grooming area looks good & spacious for the pets. I went there today to look for a dog related card (none yet) so I picked a little chicken jerky for my dog, Kurly. As I browsed through the toys, I was surprised to find the the exact squeaky 🍕 that Kurly is crazy about! It was reasonably priced so I bought; needless to say, I have a super happy dog👍🏼
I can’t emphasize enough how good of a job they do there. Jenny was super thorough, the most even haircut he has ever gotten. Between his toes, the tail is perfectly trimmed. The staff is so friendly, they don’t keep your dog for longer than the services require. Hands down! The shop is super clean and the dog was so taken care of.
