I've had a great experience taking piano lessons with Pat. He does a great job explaining the music theory and concepts, and is very encouraging and supportive. Pat and the other staff at Philly Music Lessons have also been very understanding and flexible when I've needed to reschedule lessons or take some time off when life got really busy. I highly recommend Philly Music Lessons for both adults and kids.

Philly Music has been great! They care about your goals and take time to make sure that they match you with an instructor that will help you reach your goals. After a 20 year hiatus of piano playing, I started taking lessons with them two years ago during lock-down. At 40, their instructors have taught me so much - from getting back into the groove, learning better hand positions, learning rhythm, writing music, and memorizing music. Each instructor that I have worked with has shared their particular strengths and made my lessons enjoyable. I look forward to starting in-person lessons with them this fall!

I love Philly Music Lessons! I do voice lessons with Rachel and it has been such a rewarding experience. She has been great with finding unique ways for me to learn something that I know is specific to how I learn. She checks in on what I notice and feel throughout a session to help me identity what to look for too. I always leave sessions in such a good mood because Rachel is such a fun, uplifting teacher. It has been great to see the progress I've made over time. Her and PML are also so flexible and accommodating too. Overall, amazing experience - I highly recommend.

We have worked with Philly Music Lessons for the last 2-3 years. Our 11-year-old son has worked with Emily Stewart, who has been a great piano teacher for him. She is patient, good with kids, punctual, and accommodating to our scheduling needs. I would highly recommend her services. Our son has gone from a true beginner to an intermediate learner who can play nicely, read music, and even perform for a crowd. We've also had great communication with Philly Music Lessons and their support staff. I would trust any of their handpicked teachers!

My experience signing up for and taking singing lessons at Philly Music Lessons was great all around. The school paired me up with a teacher promptly based on my needs, and it was easy to correspond with the school regarding scheduling, billing, etc. My lessons with Marcelle were also great. As an adult who has never taken singing lessons before, Marcelle made me feel comfortable, our lessons were always engaging and informative, and I made noticeable progress in the four months together. If I weren't moving out of Philadelphia, I would certainly have continued lessons with her, and I strongly recommend her to anyone who would like to learn how to sing.
