I’ve been meaning to write this review for months now, but I’m finally getting around to it. I love this Pilates studio!! I am so grateful to have discovered Chelsea’s classes here. As a classically trained Pilates instructor myself, coming to Kansas City from NYC—where, let’s be real, I had several classical Pilates studios to choose from in just about any neighborhood, was an adjustment. Chelsea made that transition so much easier for me. She teaches true classical Pilates, and her group classes are not just challenging (yes, you’ll sweat), but they’re fun, and you will progress in your practice. Added bonus: the regulars who attend Chelsea’s classes are also great. If you’re looking for a Pilates studio in KC—this is your spot.
I LOVE PKC! It’s truly the best KC has to offer. Every instructor that I’ve had is knowledgeable, kind, personable, and empathetic. I had never done Pilates classes prior to starting here and I'm almost 2 years in now! I look forward to every class as my "me time" and it has been so transformative for my mental health and physical strength. I no longer have end of day lower back pain - my core strength is night and day improved. And it's been so amazing for pelvic floor strength. The instructors give great modifications so I'm never left behind but I'm always challenging myself. Very empowering place for women - communication is always top notch from the front desk/emails to the instructors during class. They know each client by name and take great care with any aches and pains that might need modified during class. I'm so grateful for this studio.
The atmosphere and instructors are amazing at the studio! I love every single session I have at PKC. The equipment is great: they have reformer, tower, chair and many more other equipment. The studio is not very crowded, always super clean and offers a variety of classes to sign up.
I love this studio! Every instructor, every class and every interaction is kind and welcoming! I’ve been a consistent student here for about 2.5 years and I have 0 complaints! When I was a beginner, every teacher was helpful and every class the instructor helped tailor the class for beginners- they do this for advanced students as well. Even full classes feel personalized. I can’t recommend this studio enough!
