My husband and I love the class! Lindsey is easy to talk to and friendly. She is really good at giving instructions for the exercises and I feel like the class is tailored to what we are wanting to work on with our bodies. I feel challenged but in a good way when I do the classes. I love the various exercises mixed in a with some really good stretches. I feel like I'm strengthing my body and working out the tension in it all at the same time. I highly recommend this pilates class!
This is the pilates studio I've been looking for! I've been interested in trying pilates for years, but I was intimidated by the atmosphere at most pilates studios. I came across Pink Moon Pilates' web page, and their promise that "pilates is for everyone", and decided to finally give it a try with the new student special. Lindsey and Rolanda are definitely true to their promise- they make pilates work for every body! At my first session, Lindsey went over what my goals were, what injuries I have/have had, and what I was looking for in a personalized pilates workout. I've been doing a mix of private sessions and classes for a few months and leave feeling great every time. Sometimes I want a relaxing session focused on loosening up tight knots, sometimes I want a session focused on building strength or stablity- there's plenty of room to individualize what you want, especially in the private sessions. From the folks I see in classes or chat with on my way in or out of the studio, it seems like the clientele are a mix- some people are fitness junkies in it for a great workout, some people have chronic pain or disability, or some people have an injury they're rehabbing. I can definitely say that both instructors let me push myself where I want to grow, but also offer plenty of modifications to make things work specifically for my body. I've been telling all my friends about the studio, even if they already have workout routines they like, but especially if they never thought they'd be comfortable doing pilates. If you've been wary of doing pilates, like I was- you'll find this studio a safe, welcoming place to finally give it a shot! -MRM
I have been doing reformer pilates for 5 years. I have been seeing Lindsay for several months. She is kind, welcoming, knowledgeable, and attentive. I feel perfectly comfortable speaking up about any questions or needs. When it comes to offerings and scheduling she is accommodating and clear. I highly recommend her.
Open gym at Pink Moon Pilates was amazing! It was my first time ever doing Pilates and the instructor (Rolanda) broke it down to my understanding and comfort level while still providing a great workout. The equipment and the atmosphere were pristine and I’m excited about going back!
This was my first time doing Pilates, and I had such a great experience! Lindsay was so nice and lead me through the session knowing that I was a beginner. It was definitely challenging, but I was able to do all the exercises.
