It was our first time coming to Pirates Cove and we had an absolute BLAST!! Ton of fun slides and the kid friendly water park zone is a ton of fun! The lazy river has random alligator floats too for the kids to play on and you can rent floats as well. Only down fall for us was that someone took one of our rentals that we paid for and they couldn't do anything about it because there wasn't any left. The floats for the tallest slides require a double yellow float (besides the 1 with the blue mat thats required and available at the bottom of the slide) which we couldn't get either since there wasnt a whole lot so unfortunately we did miss out on some rides we really wanted to do. Overall, the experience was worth it and we will definitely be coming back with a few things to keep in mind.
Came here and booked a party package for my one year old. We all had such a blast! Super family friendly and the my one year old and older kiddos enjoyed the kids cove section, it was hard to get them out of the water! We enjoyed the lazy river and slides. Connie was such a sweet person to set this up with and we appreciate all of her help in booking! Everyone was very friendly! The food was good too. Bonus there’s an arcade inside for when the kids dry off and still want to play and keep cool! You won’t regret coming here!
We had a great time at the park until I got hurt. I had a minor injury from the slides and was told to go to medical. That's where things took a turn for the worst. Medical is in a place where you go up and down stairs. Coming down was the problem. Stairs were wet, of course, and I fell, bruising and cutting my toe. Medical team was absolutely awesome though..
We had a great time here. While it's not the biggest water park in the DFW area, it still holds its own. The water is clean and cool and the staff is friendly. My recommendation would be to reserve a cabana. Compared to other places they are extremely cheap, only 25$! My only complaint? While you can bring drinks in, you can't bring them in a cooler. Food is definitely not allowed in and their food is very overpriced. With that said, they did let us stay our cooler of water up by the entrance and we were able to come and go as we pleased to grab more.
Today was great. We pop in once or twice a year and it is normally very crowded, but today it wasn't packed so we really enjoyed ourselves. We rented a cabana. The kids loved the slides. The lazy river is always fun for me.The scenery is fun. There is a section for younger kids and a section for older kids. This place isn't huge, but I it is fun place to kill a few hours with the kids.
