This was my first driving school and my very first experience behind the wheel. The instructor helped me overcome fear and feel more confident on the road. The lessons were calm, clear, and very helpful. I recommend this school, especially for beginners.

I have very mixed feelings on what to say, but feel I should say something. Our son did get instruction through PJ's upon recommendation from another. Our other 4 sons all had instruction through AMA. There is quite a difference in terms of where the driving happens from the 2 different training schools. AMA has taught our sons to drive through downtown, merge onto the highway, navigate traffic circles and was taught defensive driving. Through PJ's our son drove through our residential neighborhood for the majority of his lessons with maybe 30 seconds on the Henday. Upon meeting PJ for the first time I told him that our son was very new to driving and we preferred our children to learn from an instructor so as not to learn our mistakes. After the first lesson, which was a disaster, or son was quite upset and a conversation took place. We tried to show grace and try again. Our son felt very belittled and we don't feel he was properly instructed. Perhaps his wife gives better instruction, and it is too bad there was no choice in this. I could write much more, but sadly we were very unsatisfied with the instruction given. Taking our son out and driving with him on his own he was so much more relaxed and would comment "Oh I was not taught this, or this..." I would hands down recommend AMA over PJ's any day. Sorry but it was a very bad experience all around. Oh and to top it all of a certificate of training was not going to be given until our son showed proof that he passed his driver's test. That did not fly with us, you need to give the certificate upon completion which did happen after we emailed.

PJ my instructor helped me acquire the driving skills that helped prepare me for my future driving endeavors. He also helped me gain the correct habits for the road with his stern teachings, which i will always remember. Overall great teaching environment and would recommend to anyone wanting to learn to drive.

I came to PJ Driving school with zero driving experience. I signed up for just 5 classes and now I feel comfortable driving on roads. The instructor was patient, calm and explained everything in a simple way that made sense even for a total beginner. Every lesson built my confidence step by step. If you are nervous or starting from scratch just like I was, PJ driving school is the perfect place. Highly recommend!
