I love this local photography shop that stocks the ILFORD black and white film in the 120 medium format, the negative sleeves, photo paper, and the required chemistry to develop and make prints. Especially today when I came over to get some 3200 speed film to make photos at a jazz club. Super customer service from Christin!
Precision Camera is my go-to for all my photography needs. I've bought several cameras and lenses here and felt good about my purchases each time. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and candid about their products. They do not just try to shove the most expensive, high-end gear in your face and insist you buy it; instead, they listen and tailor your shopping experience to fit your needs and photography style. Their film lab is very reasonably priced and efficient. I also utilize their rental services quite often and it has been a smooth process every time.
I was having an issue upgrading the firmware of my Sony A7Siii. I called and was quoted $38 bucks for them to do it. I went in, it was like 30 minutes before closing and I had fully intended to just leave it overnight and pick it up when they could get to it. The 2 gentlemen got it upgraded. It took a long time because you had to do 3 different upgrades or you could brick the camera. When they were done, they said "on the house!". What a great company. I've not bought a lot of gear, but over the years they have been my local shop. Thanks!
We had an amazing experience at this store. All the staff are incredibly knowledgable and willing to help. We came to take a class with Tamra and just wow, we learned so much. I feel like I learned a semester’s worth of knowledge about how to use my camera is less than 3 hours! Go to this store for all of your camera needs. You will not be disappointed.
They refused to honor their own labeled price. I was quoted $798 for a camera over the phone and even saw the same price clearly labeled on the box in-store. But when I went to check out, it rang up at $849.99. I asked the manager to honor the quoted and labeled price, but they refused. I had no choice but to buy it since my daughter needs it for school this week, but this felt dishonest and frustrating. A store should stand by the price they give customers. The associate expressed that the manager he talked to said that they have to go with whatever pricing is in their system. That is not fair to us as customers that are not shown that price to begin with. We see what is labeled on the box of the camera. (Photos of the box price vs. receipt attached.)
