The nicest team I've worked with. Very professional and very quick with needs. Samantha was very helpful and assisted me with all my needs. She's a life safer. Katie was my nurse and let me tell you shes the best. Dr. Khan uses his ninja skills and made the right call to assist me with my allergic reaction. DR. KHAN THANK YOU!!
I want to share our recent experience at Preston Hollow ER to help others be informed. My wife had been dealing with a cyst for quite some time that would swell and shrink, causing her discomfort. We decided to take her there since it was close by, and we had seen mixed reviews but wanted to judge for ourselves. At the front desk, the staff was genuinely kind and professional, which I want to highlight. They treated us well and were helpful. However, once we went inside, the experience changed. The RN was a male nurse, and there was also another male assistant present. This made my wife feel uncomfortable, not out of jealousy or anything like that, but simply because it was an intimate situation. The assistant basically just stood there observing while the RN and doctor worked, which didn’t add any comfort. The main issue was with the procedure itself. The doctor didn’t wait for the anesthesia to take full effect before starting to cut into the cyst. He was quite rough, applying a lot of pressure and using scissors in a very uncomfortable way. As a result, my wife was left in a lot of pain. The doctor also didn’t give us clear explanations; he just left the room and let the RN explain things later. We ended up seeing a dermatologist a couple of days after, who told us that the initial procedure had been done very roughly, leaving small scars and signs that it wasn’t handled professionally. In summary, while the front desk staff was excellent, our experience with the medical procedure itself was disappointing and unprofessional. I hope this helps others who might consider going there for similar issues.
The front desk staff was amazing.. but I do not recommend this urgent care. My experience with the doctor was extremely uncomfortable and painful. During a minor procedure, the doctor was very aggressive and did not allow the local anesthesia time to take effect. Within seconds of administering it, he began cutting and probing the area. He was very rough throughout the procedure, forcefully moving the scissors back and forth, which caused significant pain. I felt like I was being stabbed repeatedly before I was properly numb. I later went to a dermatologist, who confirmed that the area had excessive bruising and immediately noted that the incision appeared to have been done very roughly. He even commented that it was obvious the scissors had been used aggressively. It has now been two days, and I am still in pain, which should not be the case for a procedure like this. The lack of care, gentleness, and proper pain management was alarming. I regret going here and would strongly advise others to seek care elsewhere.
From start to finish, my experience at Preston Hollow Emergency Room was outstanding. From the moment I walked in, the staff was professional, efficient, and genuinely caring. The check-in process was smooth, wait times were minimal, and everything was clearly explained every step of the way. I especially want to recognize Nurse Theresa, who was absolutely exceptional. She was attentive, compassionate, knowledgeable, and made sure I felt comfortable and informed throughout my entire visit. Her kindness and professionalism truly made a stressful situation much easier.I was having an active asthma attack and she sprung into action! The facility was clean, well-organized, and the entire medical team showed a high level of excellence and concern for patient care. I felt listened to, respected, and well taken care of. I highly recommend Preston Hollow Emergency Room to anyone in need of emergency care. Thank you to the entire team—and a special thank you to Nurse Theresa—for such an excellent experience.
Recently we had to go to an "emergency room" and picked Walnut Hill Emergency. We were thrilled that we picked that one. It was about 10:15pm but it was fully staffed and everyone was welcoming, polite & efficient. We waited about 15 minuted before the nurse (registered RN)called us back. She was very kind and definitely knew what to do. When she completed her "duty" we waited about 10 min. before the doctor came in. He was especially nice and helpful. We found the place to be clean and well maintained, and the staff to be professional and thoughtful. While no one likes to go to an emergency room, we now know that if we need one this is the place to go. We found no reason to be unhappy with our choice and I would reccommend it to anyone who asked.
