I had a very disappointing experience at Primetime Barbers. I took my child in for a haircut and clearly explained how I wanted the cut to turn out. I chose this shop specifically because of their claimed experience with textured hair. Unfortunately, the barber assigned to my child appeared unhappy to be doing the service and completely ignored my requests. The haircut was rushed, sloppy, and lacked any precision. The entire cut took about 15 minutes, with no effort taken to make it look clean or well done. There was no fade, the cut was uneven all over, and it looked unfinished and careless. While we were there, I noticed other clients receiving much better service, with barbers taking their time and paying attention to detail. As a parent, I felt completely ignored and not treated as a valued customer. By the end of the service, my frustration was extremely high. I left upset and embarrassed for my son because his haircut looked awful. I could not allow him to be seen with how bad it was. I immediately went to other barbershops to see if the cut could be fixed, and thankfully found a barber who was able to correct the damage and fix what Primetime did to my son's hair. This experience was unacceptable, especially for a child’s haircut. I will not be returning.
I take my 11 year old nephew for a haircut at Prime Time every two weeks. I use the owner Antawn exclusively for his cuts. He does a meticulous and superb job every time. This is known primarily as a shop for Black hair, but they do everyone else as well, and I've seen pretty good cuts on other hair textures and ethnicities. You will always feel welcome as soon as you walk in the door at Prime Time.
Prime Time is the best in the business! From the moment you walk in, you can tell this barbershop is run with professionalism and pride. Primetime (the owner) is always on time with appointments, extremely professional, and makes sure every cut is on point. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the level of service is unmatched. If you’re looking for a barber who values your time and delivers top-notch results every single visit, this is the place to be. Highly recommend!
Got my sons first hair cut and there’s patch’s and the line up in front is horrible, then my oldest hair line is also not what it should be .. ask the guy can he fix it and he said it’s cause his pony tail
So glad I found this gem here. Since I’ve been here for work I’ve had a hard time finding a sister that does sister locks. Ashley here is not only a barber but she does all types of BRAIDS & LOCKS including sister locks. All the other barbers were nice to interact with. Such a great vibe. I had a 7 hours appointment and I enjoyed watching them play Chess and talk about football. I highly recommend this place! You will not be disappointed no matter your race. All the barbers are versatile.
