A beautiful Barre class experience - Just like in Paris! I absolutely love these barre classes at Pure Barre ! It reminded me so much of the incredible "Barre au sol" classes that I took in Paris - the same elegant energy, attention to alignment, and that perfect mixte of challenge and grace. Can't wait to come back :)
Pure Barre is such a great challenge- all the instructors give you “ yes you can “ vibes’ I am happy to be part of this community that celebrates each students wins! Here is to 750 classes, umm in about 700 more. YES I can!
Have been going to this location for over a year and still love it. The instructors are great and easy to ask questions before and after class. Workout it great for core and stability. Different types of classes help mix it up, and the routines change every couple of weeks so provides a nice variety. The staff are great and friendly. Love coming here!
I love Pure Barre! So thankful I found this great spot! Wendy the owner is such a passionate, kind and thoughtful person and inspires you to want to be part of their community! I really enjoy the workout and the instructors' energy! I love to bring friends and have fun building new relationships here- Looking forward to growing our community together!
Took a couple of trial classes here and they were okay...I liked the studio layout and dim lighting. However, what happened next completely stopped me from ever wanting to return. I started to receive dozens upon dozens of phone calls, voicemails and text messages from various people (Jade and Katie were some of the names). The calls were not from a corporate phone number, they always came from the Redondo Beach Pure Barre number and would sometimes happen multiple times a day! Pure Barre is known for their aggressive sales tactics and had I known this, I would have never even taken a trial class. They were messages trying to pressure me into a purchasing a Pure Barre membership and to "answer any questions that I had." Funny, I never had any questions, nor did I respond to their messages...not one single time. Yet the texts, calls and voicemails continued for weeks until I finally had to block them. Wouldn't you think if you contact someone that much and they don't respond, they aren't interested? It absolutely made me feel like a dollar sign rather than a human being. It was evident that all that Pure Barre wanted was my money and that pushed me in the complete opposite direction of wanting to join. If I were the studio owner, I would be embarrassed to be contacting people that much. I honestly felt harassed. I've since joined a locally owned fitness studio where I feel like a person, not a credit card and am very happy there! Peace!
