Robert was amazing. He was patient and very thorough with his directions and explanations. He trained my pup and I to communicate effectively which has been extremely helpful. He has a vast amount of knowledge on all breeds and their idiosyncrasies. He was excellent with my Great Dane and Terrier mix. His approach is tailored to the individual dog which also makes his training more effective. Thank you Robert!

Robby is a magician and the best dog trainer in St. Paul! Thanks to his training and boarding, I was able to go on my first relaxing vacation since adopting my reactive dog. It's clear from the start Robby has the confidence and knowledge to handle almost any dog and the skills he helps the owners develop are fantastic and helpful. In just a month's time I've noticed significant growth in my dog and have developed the comfort and tools to help his reactivity and get him in a comfortable space where he can thrive. Purple Paws was fantastic! I trusted them to watch my dog while I was on vacation and I was highly pleased with the regular status updates and pictures. Kylo can be a challenging dog to watch as he has some behavioral quirks, but I didn't worry one bit about him while gone. I don't let just anyone watch my dog, and I can assure you we will be back!

I am only able to give 5 stars but I would definitely give 10 times as many for what Robert has done for my dogs! I contact Robert several years ago to help with my 2 Pitties who had some behavioral issues and after a few sessions both dogs had overcome my areas of concern. Recently I rehomed a 6 year old Pittie that had very little training if any and I again reached out to Robert for help so that we could work on a few of her manners and make her a happier pup. The first session started our a little rough but within a few short minutes he walked us through what we needed to do and it was again an amazing experience. Robert is very knowledgeable and calm with his training techniques and methods. His techniques and methods are easy enough for the entire family to practice so the training will always be successful. I fully and completely recommend Robert Cole and Purple Puppy Paws Training for your furry family member. Robert is definitely a Pittie whisperer who truly loves your pet and absolutely worth every penny. Thank you again Robert for all your help!
