Very good high quality vintage clothing and accessories. Fair pricing . Bloke at the counter is very knowledgeable and nice to talk to.
Our young adult uni student was unwell after browsing but unfortunately was sick in the driveway beside the entrance to the store. The older owner was very disrespectful and shamed her and accused her of vaping and being on drugs, throwing a rag at her to get down and clean it up, which they did. If this is how he treats young adults, then perhaps it is not a safe place for them to shop. When my husband phoned him respectfully he was highly defensive. Shaming young people for being sick has mental health consequences.
Absolutely beautiful people and store. I picked up some stunning vintage pieces here, this place is a certified hidden gem! If you live close by or are in the city for a day you NEED to come here. We also got free pins from the lovely staff member who served us :)))
Major shoutout to Retro Metro, Best vintage store I’ve ever been too! Had such a great and inviting experience here, so much help and excitement from the owner and their other employee. She helped me sort through all the jeans until I found the perfect pair. Not mention the prices are easily to say, generous! I bought so much stuff which usually would stress me out but I felt so confident with everything I bought because I knew I was getting my moneys worth. I’m from Adelaide but will definitely make time on my next trip to Brisbane to visit this store again. 🥇
Beautiful selection of vintage clothes! Could have spent hours here! The man that was on the front counter was kind but not annoying like some sales assistants are. He allowed me to try on clothes in peace which I appreciated.
