What a lovely place! Lots of cool stuff. Staff was very friendly. The place is not huge but you can spend HOURS browsing and looking around. Love it. Will be back for sure!
The first time I came here, it was so fun! I bought all kinds of needle felting tools and materials. But the second time…no. I donated several yards of good fabric, along with coconut buttons and cones of polyester thread. I saw a cool large button that I was interested in buying and asked how much it cost. The owner said $1. I said, “Oh! It’s made from abalone shell. The owner then said, “Oh, then it’s more expensive”. Seriously??? I just donated a bunch of very nice fabric and buttons to your for-profit store. I didn’t say that, but I should’ve. I will not be returning.
I love going here for all of my oil and watercolor paint supplies. It's a wonderful place for so many things. I donated a bunch of at supplies that I wasn't using, many brand new. Keep an eye out because sometimes, but rarely, something might be marked more expensive than new. The people working here are the nicest ever.
Absolute gem of a place ran by an absolute gem of a woman. Frida’s creations are all over the store for anyone short of inspiration. Both her and her husband were helpful with concerns over an item or questions on how to use them. Items are categorized well and each category has a great selection. The last picture shows the items I picked up my first time around. Will definitely be back and refer all of my crafty friends 💖
This place is small but CRAMMED with all kinds of used and donated craft materials, including sewing. It's right on san pablo on the west side of the street. Set your phone timer so you don't get a ticket because you were engrossed in looking through everything. Take your extra craft materials here and donate them. Bring your half finished, never going to be finished projects. The art supplies you or a friend or family member no longer use. Sewing and craft books you no longer want. Also donate gift bags or other decent bags that can be used. The owner uses them to put your purchases in so she is not buying new bags. My purchases came home in a used wine bottle gift bag. Unfortunately, I don't think this place is wheelchair accessible due to narrow aisles, but a smaller walker might be OK.
