It’s been a-little while since I had my stereo system installed but still wanted to leave a review . Guys up front was great. I wanted a whole system put in my truck and they helped me pick a complete system. 12” subs all door speakers changed and 2 amps. All Rockford Fosgate First I had tactical patches stolen out of my truck that was on my back of seats. And even thought about taking them out before I took the truck to rickwood but thought they would have honest people installing. He blew my dash speakers after he said I would not need to replace those. Had a static sound coming from back right speaker and took it back and they said it’s a grounding issue but couldn’t figure out out to fix it. To this day I still have that noise after rickwood looking at it twice and saying they don’t know why. Went to sounds great in Hoover to have a radio installed and they even ask who did the install that it was one of the most unprofessional installs they have seen. I will never use rickwood again.

I just called them, asking the price of a stuck CD, but was told I'd need to leave the car. However, I was also advised that 'this happens alot with my sort of car' and that I might just 'disconnect the battery and leave it for a bit, and that might fix it." It did! Thank goodness for honest people. One occasionally forgets that they exist. I hope this will help in lieu of my paying them.

I needed a new monitor/screen for my 2014 Mercedes CLA 250. I spoke with another company who advised me that there were no monitors in-stock for my vehicle (I had already purchased a replacement monitor from amazon). When I asked that company about installing the one I bought from Amazon, they were weary about it and made it seem as though the product would not be of good value. I went to Rickwood Radio, showed them the product that I purchased, and they installed it for me within the SAME day without any negative comments or issues and charged me reasonably (less than what the other company was going to charge). The rate I was quoted was exactly what I paid. The guy at the front desk even helped me pair the new screen to my phone even after arriving almost 30 mins after closing time to pick up my vehicle! AND, the sound in my car even sounds more crisp! I have absolutely no complaints with this company...THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH, RICKWOOD RADIO!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Disappointed in this place. Brought my Acura in as the radio wasn't working properly. The guys up front were great and they answered all my questions made suggestions and took $100 deposit for a diagnostic to be run. The guy who ran the diagnostic was very disappointing because he could not determine whether there was something wrong with the radio or the amplifier. When I asked him specifically he says I couldn't tell which is The problem. Why the heck did I waste $100 for him to not be able to tell me what was wrong and what to fix. Took it over to Best buy they resolved the issue and all is good. Heard a lot of good things about this place but didn't experience them myself. Color me angry at having wasted my money.
