Rōnin Martial Arts Academy SD bietet umfassenden Kampfsportunterricht in einer sauberen, geräumigen Einrichtung in San Diego. My wife and I both had no self defense training before Ronin and we started training here several years ago. We love all the classes and friendships we have formed with other students and the excellent instructors. The environment is welcoming, and the instructors are passionate about training and have years of experience. Professor Phil runs a high quality facility in a great location. His boxing classes with Coach Calvin helped us build strength, coordination, and endurance. Flow Roll BJJ's (1265 Avocado Ave #101, El Cajon, CA 92020) Professor Ricky teaches classes that are great for endurance, having a deep understanding of the art, and having a great ground game. Guru Dave teaches a very practical approach to Filipino Martial arts, and his firearms course is the best firearms program we have had. He is very innovative and friendly! My wife and I are thankful for workouts and self defense training. Students of all different levels of experience, ages, and professions will benefit and enjoy training at Ronin!
There are many positives to training at Ronin Martial Arts Academy. Not only is the academy clean, bright, and spacious but the instructors are positive and down to earth. Their constructive and efficacious classes are fit for all levels. When I began at Ronin I had no prior experience in boxing, Kajukenbo (self-defense) or Muay Thai. My experience with this academy has been pleasant and an awesome introduction to the martial arts world. If you are looking for a happy, family oriented vibe this is the place to go.
I’ve known Professor Phil Dang for five years, and he’s one of the best and most genuine people I know. We met training Muay Thai, and I recently began his Firearm Safety Course with him and Guru Dave. The course has been some of the highest level instruction I’ve received in any field. Being a martial arts coach and youth coach myself, I would recommend any program under the Ronin banner, as I know the level of professionalism Professor Dang brings to his academy.
With my Martial Arts background, it was very important to find a place where our children can receive great training in self-defense. Six years ago we chose Ronin Martial Arts Academy above the other places we’ve seen. Professor Phil was approachable, respectful and has extended training and knowledge in several Martial Arts. We are truly grateful to be part of this academy. It is a very welcoming environment and they have AWESOME instructors. Nice huge facility with regulation size boxing ring. Here’s a tip. The more classes you take, the more value you get! Take a Martial Arts class, a Fitness class, and a Yoga class or as many classes as you can to get the most out of your membership. We thank you Professors Phil and Remy for teaching and caring for our kids all these years.
If you are looking for a martial arts program where everyone feels like part of an extended family, then search no further. I drive my son 15 miles each way to this school because of the holistic atmosphere Philip Dang has created which eclipses mainstream programs focused on belt advancement.
