GREAT driving school. My teen daughter and I went from lots of tears, screaming, and near-accidents while I was trying to teach her to drive to her being an excellent, confident driver! After the very first lesson, her instincts, focus, and disposition were improved - I was amazed how much more calm and confident she was after the first lesson! Most of our lessons were with the owner (black male…forgot his name), but all of the driving instructors were good. I 100% recommend for teen drivers!

I found myself in a position of needing to take a road test to get my license back. Road Ready was the right choice! The provided the car. Janelle at the front desk was friendly and helpful from the first interaction over the phone until testing day. Mr Tony was was an informative instructor and I felt at ease the entire time. I would recommend them 110%!!!

This review is well overdue, but I definitely give this place five stars because of Mr. Larry! I’m not even sure if he still works here, but he was the BEST instructor ever. I had terrible driving anxiety and it was so hard for me to even get behind the wheel of a parked car. Mr. Larry was extremely helpful throughout my whole learning process. He was kind, patient, and reassuring. I felt safe and comfortable with him and didn’t have to worry about him getting annoyed or yelling at me when I made any mistakes. I’m back in my hometown now, but at the time, Mr. Larry knew that I was in Houston alone with no support, so when I was ready to get my car, he went out of his way to help me pick one out so I wouldn’t get scammed into buying a lemon. Safe to say, I’ve been driving for a little over a year now and it’s all because of him. Best instructor ever!

I recently took my road test at Road Ready Driving School in Houston, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. Coming from Germany, I already knew how to drive, but having to repeat the exam in the U.S. felt a bit daunting at first. Road Ready made the whole process smooth and stress-free within just one day, I was able to take the test and get everything done. The best part? I even get to keep my German license in addition to getting my Texas one. Tony was fantastic, professional, kind, and genuinely supportive. I can highly recommend Road Ready Driving School to anyone who needs to take their test, whether you’re new to driving or just transferring from abroad.
