This company is a scam! They contract private tow companies they don’t tell you they don’t have tow trucks of their own. They charged me $140 for them to call a tow truck. The tow truck doesn’t work for them so when the tow truck finally got there 2 1/2 later he says it will be 100 dollars to tow my truck 10 minutes away because he has his own fee. I called back to this company the left me on hold for almost ten minutes. They take your card information first before they find a tow truck so you don’t cancel. The only reason I gave them my card information was because they told me that they could get to me within a hour, well I waited close to three hours. And I have a medical condition I can’t be stranded that long. Even the tow truck Driver told me that this company be scamming people. Never again. Use them at your own risk. It’s a reason they want you card information first.

I'm so grateful to Roadside Assistance Houston Pros for their excellent service and prompt response. They arrived quickly after my car broke down, and the issue was resolved effectively. That Houston offers such dependable roadside assistance is a relief!

The short version of the long story though I paid $151 for the jump start service. I had done this jump start for my previous car battery for around $50 dollars back in Michigan by Northside located at 226 Russell St, Lansing, MI). Moreover, Northside didn't ask for my credit card information over the phone when I needed help but PROS Roadside Assistance did. In the $151 fee, service is charged twice, a flat service fee and jump start, in addition to labor & administrative fees. I called the company again to complain about this expensive price and I was told that they don't have my invoice (receipt) on their records. The weird thing is that "Golden Towing" shows on the receipt and not "PROS Roadside Assistance". I first called a Golden Towing phone number and I was again told that my invoice does not show up on their records. I finally called the phone number on the invoice and complained about this expensive fee. The gentleman on the phone said that this particular Golden Towing is a sub company cooperating with others but he didn't explicitly admit that his firm cooperates with PROS Roadside Assistance. Anyway, the event that I got jump start service today noon is not a coincidence and I called PROS Roadside Assistance in the first place to get this service. I feel cheated by the company.
