I am beyond grateful for the incredible staff and support I’ve received from Rob’s Dogs, I don’t even know where to begin. My sweet boy, Monty, has been such a huge part of my life. I was there for his birth at 2 a.m. while watching my mom’s dog (Monty’s mom), helped raise his siblings, and chose him from the very moment he was born. He’s grown so much since then, but as a first-time owner, I didn’t manage his behaviors early on, and over time they became overwhelming. Monty began showing aggression toward people and constant reactivity, and I felt completely helpless. I’ve cried countless times worrying about his safety and the safety of others, especially after multiple close calls where he nearly bit someone. I lived in constant fear, anxiety, and grief over what his future might look like, terrified that one day his behaviors could escalate to the point where he could be taken from me or even put down. Rob’s Dogs has truly saved Monty’s life. Lauren was an incredible support, working closely with me, and Sarah did an amazing job working hands-on with Monty during his 9-day board and train. Michael spent two hours training me on Monty’s commands, and that time was invaluable. He was truly the biggest help. He treated Monty with so much compassion, patience, and love, and I could immediately tell my boy was in the best hands. While leaving, Monty got to say bye to all of his amazing trainers, and this made my heart melt. Seeing him interact so comfortably with people he hasn’t known very long, is something I never imagined. Because of this team, I no longer live in fear of what Monty’s future might hold. I now get to continue to explore the world with him, create more long-lasting memories, and keep my forever adventure partner by my side. The care, dedication, and heart every trainer showed has completely changed our lives. No amount of gratitude could ever be enough to thank the entire team at Rob’s Dogs for giving Monty (and me) a future filled with hope, freedom, and adventures. Thank you so much!
My cutie Luna has been a WORLD of a difference! We did the full leash board and train and she came out attentive, responsive, and as a better listener. She was a bit of handful before and we were at our wits end but Robs Dogs really changed her for the better. Ian did our initial evaluation and was really kind and informative, and Dani did our go home session and was amazing! She taught us all the tips and informed us about our go home tools, and on our park trip, she really guided my family through the process. She was super down to earth, great with Luna, confident and helpful teaching us the things we need to guarantee Lunas continued success. Thank you to the entire Robs Dogs family, we love you! I took my dog Indy for a training evaluation. The trainer Juliana met Indy and they instantly bonded. She described the private lessons and the board and train options. Indy did his tricks for her. Then we went out into the lobby where Indy could see other dogs training in a back room and we completely lost Indy's attention (one of the training issues we need to deal with). Once we got back to the evaluation room she quickly got his attention back. The facility is clean and all walls are glass providing constant exposure to people and other dogs. There is someone there 24 hours a day to care for boarding dogs. While we will have to wait until after the holidays to consider choosing a training program, based on my observations this would be a good place to take your dog.
I am just so appreciative of the experience Monte and myself had with Rob’s dogs. From the evaluation to our go home training session, we received so much guidance and information to make us more comfortable and confident in both each other and ourselves! We cannot wait to come back for off leash training. Special thank you to Dani for all her help getting us wrapped up to go home.
Zakita was absolutely amazing! Nessa and I were extremely lucky to have her from the 1wk board and train to our 1on1 off leash lessons She is very down to earth and easy to talk to and ask questions. like another reviewer said she's not just training your pup but she has to train us as well and she just made it so simple not to mention my pup nessa gets so excited when she sees zakita which makes me happy too see. The transformation has been wonderful we went from not listening, jumping and pulling on the leash to hiking for miles and heeling and sitting on the side of trails to let other hikers pass. I can't recommend her enough she's amazing and you will be lucky to get her as your trainer
