Just go! I put my little puppy bad Shih Tzu through their 8-week course. They broke the training down into daily practice sessions with one weekly in person training session. Every day built on the day prior in a super natural way that my dog picked up on and I could see steady progress! At the end of the 8-week course my dog can be crated, they have a bed they actually lay down in, they can heel on their leash without ever pulling, sit and stay, and are generally just better behaved. We learned so much through this course and we can’t thank Tyler and Dani enough!

I adopted Auggie in January and quickly realized I was in over my head with a medically and behaviorally complex dog. We loved our puppy class at Rosie Dane's. Tyler is an awesome and caring trainer who helped us turn our wild dalmatian-pit mix Pongo into a dog that listens and follows instructions. More importantly he turned us from clueless owners of a new puppy into decent handlers so our dog actually knows what we expect. We also trusted Tyler to take Pongo for a 10 day board and train while we were traveling and were extremely happy with the care and results. We plan to do the adult class next. We have now completed 2 Novice courses and 1 Open/Advanced (soon to be 2) and are absolutely thrilled by the results. We have two young, high-energy dogs & we are constantly complimented regarding their behavior when we are out and about. I have had three dogs over the last 7 years train with Tyler with the most recent finishing up this week. It has been a phenomenal experience all three times. The results speak for themselves, but my dogs all went in with different personalities and "issues" and all were resolved by the end of the novice course. If you are ready to put the work in (the weekly course is more about training the owner), you will find that you can tackle any issues and have a dog that you trust in your house and in public. I highly recommend Rosie Dane Dog Training.
