My wife had an old dresser that she received from her grandfather. It was covered in layers of paint over the years. We attempted to restore it ourselves and quickly found out furniture restoration was not our area of expertise. I looked online and found Sacramento furniture restoration had great reviews and it was close to my house, so I figured I would give them a try. The dresser was delivered today and it exceeded expectations. Everything about the experience was easy, they kept me informed every step of the way. I would highly recommend them for any restoration needs you may have. I unfortunately deleted my before pictures. This is the final result that was delivered today.

I recently had the tops of four pieces of our bedroom furniture refinished by Sacramento Furniture Restoration and couldn't be happier. It was quality wood furniture purchased from Lexington over 30 years ago, but we still liked it and just needed the scratches, scuffs and water rings from years of use removed. Thomas and his staff did a fantastic job matching the finish! Pick-up and delivery of the furniture was a breeze too. We couldn't be happier.

Every single thing which happened was PURE JOY: the happiest experience with a business in ALL of my 75 years. It began with carefully described driving directions from a most pleasant person named Katherine. After finding Sacramento Furniture Restoration with much-reduced anxiety, thanks to Katherine, I could NOT believe my eyes when I saw some of the finished furniture there: it belongs in a museum, palace, or the White House, artwork of exquisite perfection. Beautiful beyond words to describe. THEN I had the privilege of meeting Thomas, Owner of Sacramento Furniture Restoration. He has the rarest quality of being aware of what someone needs and providing it, which Thomas did in diverse ways: to name just a few, he carefully extracted chairs from my car (not an easy thing to do) and returned all 4 repaired chairs in the truck, saving me from 2 long trips to SFR plus difficulty of forcing 2 chairs at a time into my small car. All of this precious kindness gives the feeling of Thomas being a beloved relative and a Guardian Angel. I sat down in each one of the once rickety, now restored chairs. Solid as The Rock of Gibraltar. Further miracle: they DO NOT STICK to the carpet -- gifts from a neighbor, they arrived with horribly sticky stuff on the bottom of each chair leg, damaging the carpet, something I worked as hard as I could to fix but could not fix. ASTOUNDED, THRILLED and THANKS ! ! ! The 5 star system does not apply here. Heavenly Sacramento Furniture Restoration deserves all the stars in the sky.

They completely renovated three late-1800s bentwood cafe chairs that were in very sad shape. Repaired cracks, refinished the wood, and re-caned the seats. The final results are spectacular. So great to have a company with this skill in our area. Before and after pictures below.

This is the second piece of furniture that we have had Sacramento Furniture Restoration repair and they are amazing at what they do. The curio cabinet is from my mother and is close to 90 years old. The finish was in real bad shape and there was a break in one of the front facings and it was missing the two of the pull handles. The stripped, sanded, stained and lacquered to match the original color and found handles for it in just about 3 weeks. I am so happy with how it turned out. We will use Sacramento Furniture Restoration for any other repairs that we may need done.
