I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Safelite following my November 24 service appointment. My vehicle had already been properly crash wrapped earlier due to broken windows. On November 24, technician Michael arrived for my scheduled repair but did not have the necessary parts. During this visit, he re crash wrapped my vehicle. This second crash wrap was applied very differently than the first one and adhesive tape was placed far down onto my rear passenger door and paint surface rather than being limited to the window opening. After the repair process was completed, I discovered adhesive residue left on my vehicle’s paint that was not present before this visit. This residue cannot be removed without risking damage to the paint on my brand new vehicle. What is most concerning is that the technician did not disclose that any damage or residue had occurred. Additionally, I was later informed that proper documentation photos were not taken during this visit, despite that being part of Safelite’s own procedures. A separate Safelite representative even acknowledged that proper documentation was not completed. Safelite has since refused to correct the issue, stating that adhesive residue is not considered a workmanship problem, despite the fact that their own warranty states service is warranted against defects in material and workmanship. I was advised instead to file an insurance claim for damage caused during their service. This experience left me with new damage to my vehicle that did not exist prior to the November 24 appointment. I trusted Safelite to handle my vehicle properly and transparently, and that trust was broken. I would strongly caution others to carefully inspect their vehicle immediately after service and ask detailed questions about crash wrap procedures.

I had a rock hit my windshield and made a small “spider” crack & from past experience I wanted to take care of it right away, as with the roads here in Texas, each bump can cause the “spider” to grow, along with the cold winter weather. I made an appointment at Safelite (very easy via the internet) came In at 1pm the next day & was told it would be 30-45 minutes - they were done at 1:25! Great Job & Fantastic Service!

The experience I had with Safelite was excellent. Everything from starting the claim to being told it was finished went so smoothly. Your reminded of the appt several times and no annoyance. The technician Jose was perfect. I could not have asked ask for a more friendly upbeat happy technician. Jose did his job thoroughly. Windshield was left clean my tags were perfectly put back on. He had to drive the car to calibrate and my car was given to me exactly the way it was before. He did not rearrange the seat, mirrors nothing and if he did it was put back exactly how I had it. Jose should be recognized for all he did its employees like him that keep Safelite here. I would recommend Safelite to anyone. Extremely pleased with the service i received.

My appointment went off without issue. My technician Cage was very friendly and super informative as well as expeditious. Extremely professional too. I will always recommend and use Safelite for all Auto glass replacements.
