I personally think the business was pretty great! The program was very accessible and the customer service was excellent when I had to reschedule for a later time! Though one thing I’ll say was that it was a bit hard for me to find the entrance to do my skills testing since the door was hidden in a corner. But overall I was very pleased with the quality of education and feedback on the skills testing.
I took the BLS course. Manikin testing was straightforward and very helpful that there was the ability to practice before testing. I had an issue during my testing and the customer service line was extremely helpful!
I loved the online modules. They were easy to get through and learned some things along the way. I appreciated being able to do both the online portion and skills on my own time. The only thing I didn’t care for was the price and the difficulty of doing compressions on the manikins. $400 for BLS and ACLS is a bit much but I guess you’re paying for the convenience. I’ve worked in the emergency room and hospital for many years and doing compressions is hard work but I don’t think the manikins are calibrated correctly for depth. Maybe it’s just that I’m getting older. Definitely gave me a good workout.😊
I recently completed my ACLS and BLS recertification with Safety Training Seminars, and the entire process was seamless and straightforward. The online portion was thorough and adapted to my current knowledge and confidence level, which I really appreciated. Scheduling the in-person course was simple, and even when I had to reschedule twice, the process was hassle-free. I highly recommend purchasing the reschedule protection for peace of mind. The in-person skills test was video-automated, and while I was a little skeptical at first, it worked surprisingly well. Watching the video beforehand definitely helped me feel prepared. One thing to note: the training room was extremely hot. I was sweating profusely during the CPR exercise and ended up needing multiple towels just to keep wiping my face. Be prepared for this, especially if you’re someone who overheats easily. Overall, Safety Training Seminars made what could have been a stressful process into an easy and efficient experience. Aside from the warm room, I highly recommend them for ACLS and BLS certification or recertification.
I spent about 2 and a half hours on preparation and actual skills testing time overall. Everything was extremely in depths and super easy to learn. The course is phenomenal and the facility in Elk Grove was perfect. The testing equipment was super well taken care of and extremely robust. Clearly no expense was spared. I would highly recommend taking your BLS certification class here!!
