Our daughter has just completed her first year at SDCP. We are so impressed with this community-- the teachers, staff, and other parents have been so welcoming. The fact that our daughter's first school experience has been so positive reassures us that she is getting well-prepared to negotiate the complexities of education and social relationships, thanks to SDCP. The classroom and support teachers are creative in their approach to play-based learning, and they've been instrumental in teaching us as well. I value the friendships I'm developing with other parents. This school really has a unique approach that no other preschool in the area can offer-- I know this because of the experience of my friends and neighbors whose kids are in other schools. We look forward to more years of play, learning, and friendship at SDCP.
San Diego Cooperative Preschool has been an amazing experience for our family. Our child is in the infant room, and the teachers are warm, caring, and professional. We plan to stay through the rest of the preschool classrooms because we love the supportive community and play-based learning. Highly recommend this San Diego preschool for families looking for a nurturing and high-quality early childhood program!
Both of my kids have been at SDCP from the time they were infants and we have absolutely loved our experience here. All the teachers are incredibly caring, thoughtful and creative. The amount of love and care they show our children is absolutely incredible. We feel so fortunate to have found this place and the community we have created here has been so instrumental in our children’s development and ours as parents.
SDCP has been part of our family for years and we love it. There is a great community of families - thanks to the open-door policy and the ability to help out in the classrooms, we know all the kids, their parents, and the teachers well. Some of the teachers have been at the school for 15-20 years and the staff all get along really well. On their breaks some of them even visit other classrooms. You can just tell they love what they do so much. Tons of outdoor space for the kids to play in; school uses the RIE method. Our kids have developed a good sense of self expression having attended. Love everything about it, highly recommend!
Unsere beiden Kinder haben UCP besucht. Es ist eine warme, fürsorgliche Umgebung, in der wir uns immer als echter Teil der Gemeinschaft gefühlt haben. Ich kann nicht genug Gutes über die engagierten Lehrkräfte und die äußerst kompetente Leitung sagen. UCP ist wirklich ein besonderer Ort, und ich bin sehr froh, dass wir ihn gefunden haben. Wenn du eine Vorschule suchst, die mehr ist als nur ein Ort, an den du deine Kinder schickst, dann ist dies der Ort. Wir haben eine Menge Erziehungstipps gelernt – sowohl durch Kurse, die von UCP angeboten werden, als auch indem wir den Lehrern bei der Arbeit zusahen, während wir im Rahmen eines Co-Ops mitgearbeitet haben. Schau es dir an - du wirst froh sein, dass du es getan hast!
