Overall, a great dining experience with one notable service caveat. My family was visiting, and we went on a Tuesday evening at 8:00 PM. Once seated, the service was excellent—but the maître d’ experience and table timing were the main drawback. We were unable to get a clear estimate on when our table would be ready and were asked to wait in the bar area. We ended up waiting about 45 minutes, ordering drinks at the bar that were charged separately from the table. We were finally seated around 8:45 PM, at which point Scarpetta did a nice job making it right with complimentary drinks and hors d’oeuvres. By the time we finished dinner, the restaurant was about half empty, which added to the frustration of the earlier wait. Food-wise, everything delivered. I had the agnolotti, while others ordered the sirloin, pumpkin gnocchi, and tagliolini nero—all excellent. Desserts were also delicious, and our server was fantastic, attentive, and polished throughout the meal. Bottom line: the food is great and well worth visiting, but better front-of-house timing communication would go a long way. We were close to leaving for another restaurant due to the uncertainty. That said, I’d absolutely return and would expect a smoother seating experience next time.

This place blew it away! The food was incredible. Delicious! from Appetizer to dessert. Highly recommend the seared scallops. Definitely A must try when you’re in NYC.

Delicious pastas, key lime cheesecake was just balance and light. Only reason I gave 4 stars is because of the super rude sommelier. Our waitress suggested us to bring the sommelier to recommend a bottle of wine. Sommelier came by to our table looking very unhappy, rushing us to decide, didn’t even ask anything about what type of wine we want to drink or suggest! Only thing he said I’ll let you talk and decide, I’ll come back when you know! We just decided to get a bottle of Barolo, he just said it’s a good choice then opened it for us and pour the wine in our glasses. He miss and poured some in my appetizer plate and didn’t even bother to apologize or change my plate! In the other hand the manager and our server this evening were very accommodating and helpful!

The spaghetti was indeed legendary- Perfect- Al dente- sauce was both mild and hearty. It might be simple but it stood out. Peach Bellini was a beautiful + light dessert We enjoyed the broccolini a lot. We also tried the yellowtail, halibut, ravioli, and braised short rib. These were all good! But the above was exceptional.
