As a family new to the School of Rock, I wanted to share how much I enjoy watching the bands practice through the window. All of the children seem very happy and enthused, and the staff members have been incredibly welcoming. I am very excited to watch the bands perform in concert on the 25th.
School of Rock - Dublin has been a wonderful part of my son’s life for years. He enjoys coming every week and has learned so much over the years. The staff are kind, friendly, organized, and very helpful. My son’s instructor is a dream to work with, and they are a great match. Highly recommend SOR.
My daughter has found herself through this program- the welcoming environment helps her feel seen, and she can let loose and rock out on keys and bass with a great group of kids and instructors! Definitely a must for any family looking to tap into their child's passions and give them a safe space!
So far this has been the most friendly laid back business I have ever experienced. Walking into the studio during the open house felt so comfortable and laid back like visiting a friend's house for a casual party. My family felt welcomed and like a friend was inviting us back to visit again. My kid with zero experience decided to jump on stage and try singing a song. They pointed out her guts and spunk and focused on positive encouragement to make the experience a positive one.
The staff at School of Rock Columbus has been nothing short of gracious and kind to my family. Without skipping a beat, they have made accommodations for my wheelchair-using child, who is learning to play bass guitar, and have treated him with dignity and respect. Rarely do I feel like my disabled children are truly at home inside any business, considering their mobility and behavioral challenges, but School of Rock almost seems to anticipate our needs before we vocalize them, and the staff continuously reassures me that we are welcome. That's almost unheard of in a society that has so much learning yet to do when it comes to accessibility. I am incredibly thankful that my son has found a place where he's not just an afterthought, and I am looking forward to seeing him continue to grow and thrive while reaping all the ancillary benefits that an education in music can provide. I'm so glad we chose SoR!
