The food was delicious 🤤 and they have the best latte and the design is beautiful.. had a great time great atmosphere
My wife and I just had brunch here and we had to laugh at how horrible our experience was. For starters our waiter was horrible. He was a nice person but he couldn't answer a single question we had without looking at his handheld and reading it so it took forever you get our meal ordered. When my wife asked if they could use clamato juice for her bloody Mary he had no clue what that was. Then she asked if it could be made dirty he had to bring the bartender out so she could explain what that meant and he spoke no English so we said nevermind make it normal. Then came the food and it was cold. Not even warm just cold. My Benedict had hardly any holindase sauce on it so I asked for extra and when I got it.... Again it was cold. I'm not sure what's happened here because it was a favorite of ours but I don't know if we will return now. The picture was taken after I put the egg on the other biscuit. Otherwise one half was dry with nothing on it.
Pancakes were fluffy and tasted delicious. Avocado toast phenomenal. Barbacoa was ok. The server was nice she needs to make frequent check backs though. Bathroom were cute and clean. Tables were clean. Chill atmosphere.
The fries on the appetizer are wicked good. It has crispy bacon cheese, fresh potato fries with chicken on top. Highly recommend getting that. I also got a salad with chicken and that was super good too. I tried the chicken chili which was delicious. I’m walking out of here like I need a wheelchair. Absolutely great stuff brought the team they loved it. Thank you so much for the great service and the amazing food.

Oh, and don’t sleep on the sides—the fries were crispy and golden, and the house pickles were tangy with just the right kick. Service was quick, friendly, and genuinely enthusiastic about the food. You can tell the staff takes pride in what they’re serving, and rightfully so. Overall, Scratch Sandwich Company is a gem in Laredo. It’s the kind of place you come back to again and again—and then tell everyone you know about.
