I will start off saying, we USED to love this place for our fur baby. He’s been going here since he was a puppy. Since Tim left it seems this business has lost customer service and passion for the fur babies. I have never experience my fur baby being man-handled with a neck collar to a point of coughing because Kim was trying to get him to calm down. Tim was very sweet with our boy and he would get down to his level, brush him, look at him and interact to get the best service for our baby. I do not see the passion and care from Kim. We will no longer be taking our baby there. It’s unfortunate. Hope all goes well for them, but we will not be going back.

Took our toy maltipoo here a couple of weeks ago. We asked for a teddy bear face with longer fur at the top for bows. Left our baby for about 3 1/2 hours. Came back and, at first, we were shocked (in a good way), because she looked sooo different. She had a cute bow at the top which is all we focused on. She seemed okay, really happy to see her family, so we didn't even realize much else.... until we got home. Baby was really irritated with the bow on her head. Nothing unusual as she normally rubbed it off or clawed it off. But this one wasn't budging. Not even a little. Upon closer examination, the rubber bands were soo tight that we had to carefully cut them off. Once free, our poor baby looked like someone had given her a bad Farrah Fawcett cut from the 70s! It looked more like a middle part with choppy layers on either side! This was a far cry from the teddy bear face we asked for. Kim had our baby looking like a poodle as ALL of the length around her face was GONE! About 2 days later, Baby was getting her ears cleaned and, to our horror, saw that she had been nicked by clippers.... on BOTH sides! One side was absolutely horrible! It looked like Kim had deliberately just dug the clippers into the dog's ear as there was a rather large gouge and several other smaller nicks in the surrounding area. The nicks had already scabbed over and we had no reason to go "searching" on our baby as, when we asked Kim how she had done with the first-time grooming, Kim had indicated that she was "a bit fussy". THIS looked like Baby had been fighting for her life!! Our baby seemed to like Kim upon first arrival or we would NEVER have left her. Fortunately for Kim, we didn't need to take her to an emergency clinic. We are thinking that the nicks dried up before we picked our baby up OR some type of topical agent was applied to stop the bleeding. Our baby is barely a year old. Every time we even think of how frightened she must have been... we get emotional. If there were something we could sue this horrible groomer for, we'd have her out of business! Moving forward, we will be taking Before and After pics of our baby IF we can get her to go to another, more qualified and experienced groomer.

Marabou had a great time at Serenity Spa! This was his first time getting groomed so we were a bit nervous, however, we were super impressed by Tim’s dedication to de-shedding him. Before we came in, Marabou was blowing his coat & we were pulling clumps of fur out of him. Tim spent 4 hours grooming then brushing him. We will definitely be coming back!

Serenity Pet Spa always took care of our boy! He got sick from some other groomers before and when we moved here we were on the hunt for the perfect place. They took care of our dog and always did the best job to make him look and feel like the handsome man that he was. Denver passed away recently and I’ve been meaning to write a review because I really appreciate these groomers. 😌
