Never buy a package from them! Once you purchase a package and they consider you locked in, the quality of service drops significantly and you are treated like a second-class customer. Several friends warned me about this behavior, and unfortunately they were right. If you cancel, they charge a 50% penalty. However, if they cancel on you, they offer no meaningful alternatives and can leave you waiting for months.
You're required to fill in the ridiculous form they have every time you go. It takes 10 minutes each time and the questions don't change. Why they can't save my information escapes me and apparently escapes the eye rolling receptionist as well. I'm sure this sounds like an exaggeration but see the attached 3 screen shots of the completely redundant questions I get asked Every time I go. Every time! I would understand it if I got asked once then asked if anything had changed on each visit but nope.. the full questionaire each time. And the receptionist makes it abundantly clear that they can't make it more efficient and less repetitive and assures me this is the best they can do. Also assures me I can't be treated if I don't fill it out for the 10th time. The nurses are great tho. If it wasn't for the redundant paperwork I'd go back just because they're so awesome but it's just too annoying to fill it out every time. Go anywhere else...
Run away — waste of money, time, and peace of mind I honestly wish I could give zero stars. I would strongly advise against choosing SEV simply because it’s cheaper than other providers. After 13 laser hair removal sessions, my underarm hair is still present, which is extremely disappointing given the time and money invested. The very first session, I specifically reminded the front desk not to use the Candela laser on my legs. After the session ended, I realized that Candela had been used anyway.... I was in shock and disbelief!!! by how little attention was paid to me as a client. My experience was very stressful due to ongoing mismanagement. The front desk made a clear scheduling error and booked me for an additional session while telling me it was included in my package. As a result, I took time off work, traveled to the center, and was charged $100 for a mistake that was not mine. Despite multiple follow-ups, I was never refunded for this error. To make matters worse, I later obtained a doctor’s letter advising me to stop laser hair removal with SEV, yet more than a month has passed and I am still trying to get my money back, despite emailing several times. I have attached a photo showing that I contacted SEV again 9 days ago and have yet to receive a response. Overall, the front desk repeatedly failed to properly track sessions or communicate accurately. I recommend spending more at a professional, well-organized center. It may cost more upfront, but you’re far more likely to get results—and avoid unnecessary stress and headache.
I was really excited to try SEV Laser and even paid $100 as a deposit to reserve my appointment. I fully understand that if I cancel, they might keep the deposit — and honestly, I would not complain if they only kept the $100.However, after I canceled one day before the appointment, they refunded the $100 deposit, but then charged me half of the full treatment cost, which is a much larger amount, even though I didn’t receive any service at all. That amount is not small, especially for me as a student, and it was a real financial hit.I contacted support, and they told me to send an email and promised to get back to me in 4–5 days. It has now been longer than that, and I still have not received any response, explanation, or refund.What really disappointed me is not only the unexpected charge, but also the lack of communication and customer care. I expected more transparency, fairness, and respect for clients. I still hope they will contact me and fix this, but for now, my experience has been very frustrating and disappointing.
Wanted to write a positive review because a lot I saw were negative! My experience was quick, timely, and informative. I used a Groupon and experienced no issues with booking or my appt. The laser wasn’t too painful (way less than waxing) and everyone was kind and efficient. Looking forward to my future sessions.
